Palestinians, Israelis and foreign peace activists hold rally in village of Bilin marking three years since struggle against separation fence was launched in area. American tourist injured by rubber bullet, MK Barakeh hurt after inhaling teargas
An American peace activist was moderately injured Friday afternoon after Border Guard officers and IDF soldiers fired rubber bullets and teargas at demonstrators in the Palestinian village of Bilin, participants reported.
The activist was evacuated to the Ramallah hospital. Other protesters, including Hadash MK Mohammad Barakeh, were hurt after inhaling teargas, witnesses said. An elderly men required hospital treatment.
Some 2,000 people attended the rally, which marked three years since the struggle against the construction of the separation fence near the village was launched.

Senior Palestinian officials, including Palestinian Parliament Member Dr. Mustafa Barghouti, also took part in the protest.
‘Violent oppression’
MK Barakeh told Ynet that “The notorious brutality of the IDF and the Border Guard reflects the ugliest aspect of the attempt to crush Bilin residents’ fight.”
According to the MK, “The violent oppression will not curb the just struggle of the people of Bilin.
“The struggle is an admirable example of the Palestinian people’s persistent fight to free themselves of the occupation and the burden of the fence, the settlements, the roadblocks, and the barbaric violence of the security forces.”
The Hadash chairman also stated that the IDF and the Border Guard should be held accountable for their conduct opposite demonstrators who are using “non-violent protest against the fence, which deprives them of their land and livelihood.”
In September, the High Court of Justice accepted a petition filed by Bilin’s residents asking that the fence’s route near the village be amended. The court has ordered the State to draft an alternate route for the fence.

It’s not just American tourists. Palestinian children are included and they are shot in the head. Imagine such heinous crimes. This is Nazism all over again.
It’s a matter of Public Opinion. As long as the American public remains in the dark about such issues or continue to get brained washed, IOF will continue to do what is does while the Americans are patting them on the back “for a job well-done.” These thugs are now trying to claim that they did not, for example, kill Rachel Corrie and that the story is “inaccurate.”
But God’s chosen are on a campaign it seems to paint a different picture. One NaZionist on WordPress claims that he’s proud to be part of the “merciful and humane” race of Israelis because the IOF delivered the remains of suicide bombers to Hamas! What an incredible gesture of “mercy.”

Most Americans, including many American Zionists, do not know enough about the role of the Druze in Israel. Most of the border guards and many of the units that are most brutal to the Palestinians are Druze. The Druze are a closed religious group; no one joins, no one leaves, and there is no intermarriage. The Druze in Israel hitched their wagon to the Jewish state before independence. They have fought for Israel in every war. Some say the Druze practice a mixture of the “big three” monotheistic religions but we really do not know; it is a secret. In fact, most Druze do not know very much about their OWN religion; only the priesthood is authorized to know the details, or so they tell outsiders. In any case, the Druze know they would not last long without Israel. They also know that if peace broke out between the Jews and the Arabs, the Druze police and military units would have to find new jobs. We see a similar phenomenon here in the US where half of our prisoners are serving time for drugs. We have a huge constituency for strict drug enforcement composed of prison and law enforcement workers. The voters in both countries need to watch over their own supposed “public servants” more carefully.

Hmmm, “God’s chosen.” Wow, is God discriminatory? Is God blind? Is God a hateful genocidal maniac? Does God “endorse” the indiscriminate killing of innocent men, women, and children? You know, regardless of ‘ethnic’ origins? Does God view torture as “spiritual?” Hmmm, what about concentration camps. And in a ‘theological’ sense of the courageous, “God” would embrace a selfless hero the likes of Rachel Corrie in both the divine arms (anthropomorphically speaking of course), kiss her gently on her head and commend Ms. Corrie for her bravery. “God” would then of course, offer Ms. Corrie the best seat in the heavenly house and serve her brunch out on the divine veranda. This means no offense to the Palestinians who have endured such unimaginable suffering; however, as I read this I was shocked. Not shocked at the IOF brutality or violence; that’s to be expected and is no longer even surprising. As an American, I wonder where the condemnation from my government is. I wonder what the reaction would have been had it been Palestinian gunfire that wounded an American. Here the U.S. government (let alone the Zionist-controlled newspapers) has gone and demonized Muslims on the basis of a big, fat inside job black operation of a lie — one of the most monstrous in history — and yet I hear no protestations coming from the Bush administration on this attack and assault on one of our own.
No, instead they are carrying Israel’s water in lying about Iran to start a Middle East conflagration the likes of which none of us have ever seen — the old PNAC/Clean Break Plan! May God Help us all!
