We had our primary elections here in California last month. My 29 year old daughter and I went together to vote. My daughter has been a registered Democrat since she registered to vote at age 18. However, when we arrived, the person there informed her she was listed as a registered Independent, and could only vote the Independent slate (such as Green) I argued with her that my daughter was NOT a registered Independent but was told, “Well, that’s what she is listed as here on our records”. Then this person told my daughter she would have to fill out a separate form and challenge her registration. IF it was true she had been listed improperly, then her vote would be counted. Now tell me, they had her registration wrong, then they’re going to go way back in their records to check it out? And mind you, this doesn’t happen in time to make my daughter’s vote count. A few days later there was an article in the LA Times stating that voting polls had been misinforming voters how to vote their registered slate who showed up only to find out they apparently were registered incorrectly. (or rather their registrations had OBVIOUSLY been tampered with) The law states that if that occurs, then you are given the voting form you wish to vote (in this case Democrat) and there is a box at the top you punch which states you were registered wrongly. My daughter was NOT told this. It seems there were THOUSANDS in LA County that this happened to, and even when this occurred to my daughter the woman gave the envelope to my daughter and said, “Here, you lick it closed, we’ve had more than a hundred of these today”. That was at ONE polling booth!
This also occurred to my sister-in-law in the past. She lives in Orange County, a Republican bastion. She is 53 and has ALWAYS been a registered Democrat. However, she had shown up three times to vote in the primary and told she was a registered Republican!! She finally took care of it at the DMV once they started doing voter registration. I don’t know about other states, but don’t let this happen to you if you live in California. It is worth your time to re-register at the DMV so you are SURE to have your vote count. This won’t matter in the general election, but it will in our next primary.

Any person that would vote for ANYBODY trotted out by either one of these “two” crime organizations is a dick and an imbecile, and is enabling this dog-and-pony show. Why would anybody participate in this sham, and lend it some phony veneer of respectability? Why would anybody get pissed because they weren’t able to vote for either a Gambino or a Genovese? “Oh, God, they tried to take away my right to vote for my favorite warmonger! It’s a crime! I want to vote for either The Hillaroid or His Obamaness, whose wife is the head of the Chicago chapter of the CFR. It ain’t fair!”

Register to vote permanent absentee ballot. Assuming it does get counted; you get your ballot weeks ahead of time, you have an opportunity to sit down and study what you are voting for as you are voting for it, and if there are any problems with your registration you have plenty of time to deal with it.
You can also register online in the State of California. I switched parties this year so I could vote for Ron Paul and it worked very well.

feels good to know that were going to have a president that cares about how america is spending the hard earned money and not watch it go down the drain. hopefully obama can turn things around and show us what its like to take everyones needs and problems into consideration and maybe, just maybe end problems instead of always having them because our own president started them and very closely almost hit rick bottom. Good luck for the next 4 years
