FINALLY…. after 72 years, the Veterans of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade are recognised as true heroes.
The following video was made at the unveiling of a monument to the Brigade in San Francisco last month. At the time there were 40 veterans living. Abe Osheroff, the last man to speak on the video died last Sunday, leaving 39… all in their 90’s.
True heroes that fought and sacrificed for a better world…. most lived to see Freedom restored in Spain after Franco’s death.
