OPEN LETTER TO THE EDITORS AND WRITERS OF THE ALTERNATIVE MEDIA

To: Editors and Writers – Alternative Media

Les Blough,

Google can’t really be hurt by any imaginable economic protest to their new censorship tactics, but they (the Zionists) really hate it when they are made to look bad. Whenever Zionists manipulate events and people around them, they seem to be as worried about appearances as they are about results. The inner businessman’s concern for image is always at war with the fascist bastard’s desire to kill the opposition.

We have the following statement on censorship from the director of Google Israel, Meir Brand:

“At Google, we have a bias in favor of people’s right to free expression,” he said. “Google is not and should not become the central arbiter of what does and does and does not appear on the Web. That’s for elected governments and courts to decide,” Brand said.

He said Google removes results from its search index only when required to by law, for example, when copyright infringement is an issue.” 12/11/2007 http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/923191.html

Very soon after Google made this claim, the censorship began. Someone should check to see when this wave of hacks and administrative denials began. When did the Israel 60 begin its cyber attack center? Someone in Israel should get the actual addresses of the Google centers in Tel Aviv and Haifa, as well as the Israel 60 site, to determine if the attacks could be traced back to them.

This is a partial list of the attacked and banned sites. Someone who knows should complete it. Dictatorship Watch came back today after losing an entire month.

As a writer and contributor to most of these sites, I have experienced some of these cyber attacks myself, though most of them were before the current period of sabotage. The attacked sites should start to mirror each other’s sites, to complicate the task for them.

The writers should begin to really focus on the hostile interference with Americans’ Constitutional rights to freedom of the press and freedom of expression by our supposedly “democratic” ally. Publicly proving Israeli censorship of Americans might prove to be as important to our fight as the work of Mearsheimer and Walt. The BBC report, “Google censoring web content,” http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/2360351.stm could provide the opening for that breakthrough.

We have to find an effective way to stand together on this, because we are all going to find out on a personal level the penalty for having such contrary beliefs.

Peace’

Very good letter from Peter. It would be a good idea for us to mirror one another, but it is practically impossible. It’s hard enough to remember to mirror ourselves (which has become necessary). I do have a few friends who copy pages now and then on computers in various continents, more than that becomes too complicated. Although… it’s an interesting suggestion.

Yet, there are two matters I’d like to address here (this is Mary from Peacepalestine). 1) Being hit with this disaster is scandalous, but on the other hand, what did Google end up doing? Creating more sites…. We all shift our site elsewhere, and in the meantime, create brand new ones. Out of a crisis, turn it into an opportunity as the Chinese proverb goes. 2) Many of us on this list are not running our sites from the USA. Uruk and Pepa are in Italy, Axis is in Venezuela, Desert Peace is in Israel, Layla Anwar from Iraq, Laila in Gaza. About the others, I don’t know. I understand that Americans believe they are protected in their civil liberties at some level, but what is worse is that every single nation is expected to subject itself to the Pro-Israel standards that have become the norm in the US, and we are all becoming (despite ourselves) a sounding board for what is considered to be acceptable thought.

But, we have to each, individually and together, fight for the rights to express our views and to resist against the Zionist onslaught, whereever it comes from. And, these frustrating events are actually giving “our” troops compactness and unity and more determination than before.

If it is so with the Palestinian people, how could it not be with us?

YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS, but who’s blog got “unlocked” today, with no apologies, no explanation?

    peacepalestine.

I suppose our exposure of their tactics has either made them duck for cover or pretend that they were not censoring! It is quite incredible.

They got a really good deal out of it all. I will post to the Blogger blog: I will post to the WordPress blog, I will post to the full-function site created as a result of the censorship enacted by Google and Blogger. The Zionists got three Pro-Palestinian sites for the price of one. This is another reason that in the end they can’t win.

    Never give up!!!

Thanx for the list. I read most of them anyway but now have a few more to look at.

Stupid question: What does it mean to “mirror” another site?

I’m starting to kick around the idea of crossposting articles in their entirety instead of just linking to them due to the ongoing censorship issues of politically sensitive content. Is this mirroring? I feel bad about this though - it feels like poaching.

To mirror (I learned this word the hard way!) is to get a different provider and upload the entire blog into it. (or as much as is allowed. On WordPress, I couldn’t load up all the extras and widgets and jukebox). I now have two sites to upkeep, because I am not going to allow the blog that was built with effort that they tried to eliminate - where others had failed - die as they might prefer. I am going to maintain the substitute blog (the original mirror) as the main one, and the original blog as the mirror, but always: same blog on two providers.

    It’s a good idea.

Having been through the SHILL onslaught at Wake up from your slumber and having to deal with the CIA machine directly i can do nothing but confirm that Zion’s little helpers are working overtime to muddy up the waters. For 16 months the shill army of CIA plants have taken over most of the WUFYS system.

Now i doubt VERY much if anyone ever sees the most important post there…

    Here you try http://www.wakeupfromyourslumber.com/node/1002/

See if you can find my Phone # Call me if you can… I have reason to think the whole system is owned by FBI/CIA/DHS and Nothing of a threat nature is allowed to get out even if it is just a PH# of a Palestine Blogger.

Just give up and parrot the party line about how Israel is such a great place to live… if you’re Jewish.

And how Israel has a thriving economy…. thanks to the U.S. giving Israel billions and billions of dollars per year.

And how Israel is such a “peace” loving nation… Just be sure to shout that loudly, so you’ll be heard over the Apache helicopter gunships strafing Gaza.. and to be heard over the IDF’s 155 mm artillery shelling Gaza.

And to be heard over the IDF armored bulldozers, crushing the life out of the West Bank by knocking down Palestinian homes and smashing down their olive groves and running over the occasional peace activist.

And to be heard over the deady barking sounds of the numerous IDF sub-machine guns, ripping and tearing into the flesh of Palestinian kids.

Yep, Israel is one peaceful nation, alright.

The only peace Israel wants is: a “piece” of Jordan; a “piece” of Syria; a “piece” of Lebanon; a “piece” of Egypt; a “piece” of Iraq; a “piece” of Saudi Arabia and whatever “pieces” are left after Israel finishes it’s genocidal extermination of the Palestinians.
