I was just informed by the Administrator of Media With Conscience (MWC) that the graphics they post credited to Carlos Latuff and Benjamin Heine no longer appear on Google News. All other graphics do appear as can be seen in the link I just provided.
Both Carlos and Ben are Associates of mine, their works are known throughout the world. Google’s attempt to erase them from existence will not work. They are both here to stay and will both continue creating works depicting the peoples’ struggles throughout the world.

Both are especially known for their works depicting the ongoing struggle of the Palestinian people, a struggle that Google apparently wished did not exist. This is made obvious by their censorship of pro Palestinian Blogs, as well as their refusal to post works appearing on Uruknet and other sites.
The Palestinian struggle DOES exist.
The struggle to end US aggression in Iraq DOES exist.
Google, nor anyone else, can put a stop to that. The struggles will continue until victory comes to all fighting for justice.
I take personal pride to be associated with the likes of Ben, Carlos and Uruknet, and thank each of them from the bottom of my heart for the endless dedication that they all show us on a daily basis.

Google acts in an identical way to the nazi control media found within Germany, and other friendly nations, during the 1930s. The only difference is that google targets the muslims as the nazis targetted the jews.
The reason for my rather crude anology earlier is to point out the significance. Not what google is doing, but why. Google, created and controlled by some of the most racist zionists around, intends to play as large a part as possible in the extermination of muslims. While even sites like this pretend the game is nasty, but minor, the same nature of evil that lived at the core of nazi ideology exists at the core of the zionist/neo-con/neo-liberal/New Labour ideology today.
Already they have slaughtered more muslims in Afghanistan than jews in WW2. When the figures from other war zones are included, today’s racist monsters make Hitler seem like a novice (remembering that the fair comparison is with Hitler’s crimes pre-1940, since the people that google represents haven’t started their world war yet).
When the google team, those psycopaths that rule the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, France, etc, kick-off their global war with the invasion of Iran (a perfect analogue of the previous invasion of Poland), the total of dead will rapidly approach 100million in the early days.
By then, the internet will be a very different place. Google censorhip will be absolute, using the methods they are experimentally researching and deploying today. There will be no legal alternatives not under the same racist control. Only p2p methods will allow the possibility of any internet outside government control, and the state will be constantly attacking all forms of p2p under all possible excuses.
Ordinary people will be allowed to post, but only on sites controlled directly by Rupert Murdoch, Yahoo, Microsoft, or Google. No anonymous content will be allowed, and no disguised accounts. Then, one wrong word, and the individual will be banned. Automatic software will attempt to flag the ‘wrong’ opinions for later Human inspection. Projects like the ‘Israeli megaphone project’ will be expanded to ensure that ‘troublesome’ individuals are banned forever from expressing themselves.
The political movement that google aligns with will claim the internet if ‘free’- free of ‘thought criminals’ that is.
BTW pseudo anonymous posting will be allowed for ’sensitive’ things like self-help sites fighting child abuse etc, to minimise the backlash. The trick will be that only government authorised anonymising services will be allowed, where actually your true identity is recorded, and encrypted, and is immediately available to agents of the state on demand.
For google to win, it has to offer ‘freebies’ that please the 99% of the population that couldn’t think for themselves, even if their own hair was on fire. When that 99% is pleased, they can be made to shout down the 1% in unison, when that 1% demands true freedom.
The mindless pap previously found in magazines, radio, TV, newspapers, and most films, must be made to seem the only reason ordinary people use the net.
Note that even ‘anti-spamming’ rules also kill the one-to-many methods that people could use email services for to spread political messages. Google is building a world where one to many messages are always under state control, and ordinary people are returned to the one-to-one communication of the past, when they have anything ‘political’ or ‘anti-current-authority’ to say.
Google is a supremely evil organisation. Did your Mom never warn you to beware starngers offering attractive freebies, when you were kids? Now perhaps you can understand why.

You haven’t presented any evidence that Google censored anything. Just because these artists’ cartoons no longer show up in the Google News results could mean any number of things. Most likely, the algorithm was improved to show relevant images next to news stories — not editorial cartoons.
I don’t know how you can possibly claim censorship when your friends’ art comes up as the top results returned by Google search.

Normally, censorship is associated with underdeveloped countries that are still struggling with setting up legal frameworks that are anything more than stage democracies.
But if we have more and more examples of censorship coming from the supposed “good guys” (i.e. well established democracies), we risk not having a valid role model for those countries that need to look up for better examples of respecting one of the pilars of democracy: freedom of expression, and more specifically, THE RIGHT TO DISAGREE (which is, by the way the core principle of any democratic parlament).
