The Troll Stripped Bare: Unmasking Deceptive “Geneviève” Again

An investigative report by PTT editorial staff with the assistance of B. Unny PI Institute

This article is not nice reading. It is going to expose and demonstrate just how a fake activist gets debunked, how smear campaigns are unraveled, and how Internet is Big Brother who never closes his eye and leaves bread crumbs tracing everything to the source. It is a shocking story of sex, lies and madness. That it involves Palestine, unfortunately has once again influenced us to speak out. We insist upon the separation of the Palestinian cause from some disturbed persons involved who use the cause for their own ends. By their own words and deeds, they shall be exposed. Welcome to the Emperor’s New Clothes.

We at PTT are reporting the following information that all in our community need to know for their protection.

As was reported here on Palestine Think Tank not long ago, an activist for Palestine found himself involved with the manager of a Ning (Peace for Palestine, who also runs a few blogs, Fourth Reich Israel, Lilith’s Garden and AliyaallZionists.  There could be more blogs registered to her as well or ones that she moderates or administers, but these are three that were easily found.) The administrator of all these domains goes by a name that she herself admits is not her own, “Geneviève”.

How “Geneviève” sees herself: Resisting the putrid wind!

“Geneviève” already had a bit of a reputation on at least two Pro-Palestinian Nings (though it has been said that she’d been cancelled off of others for abusive behavior). The importance of Ning formats plays in all of this shall be explained further down. It had been reported on several occasions by another Ning manager of a Pro-Palestine group that the IP under the profile “Geneviève” had a tendency to spend hours reading other people’s profiles, seeking information and then making a lot of outrageous demands on the manager, claiming that she was being sexually harassed by some members. As well, she insisted that those who were members of both Nings leave the first one, and join hers, thus getting easier access to all that body of information.

This person made claims about herself that did not hold water, and with very little effort, they were exposed, without any kind of logical rebuttal. But the evidence was pretty solid. All of it was documented, coming directly from her personal emails, letters sent by her to those she befriended, containing private information, attachments of photos she said were portraits of herself, laughably looking really really French in a red beret, but were actually photographs of what turned out to be an Argentinean model, (“Geneviève” claimed she herself was a model a few years before becoming an ace journalist and poet). In each subsequent mail, this lovely mademoiselle showed herself in further states of undress, evidently to lure the male prey. It was discovered that they were stock photos, and the photographer confirmed it. There were quite a few other inconsistencies that could not in any way be explained, and seeing as how deception can’t be tolerated, as confidence between activists is very important, prior to the activist’s exposè, he tried to ask her to explain herself, and actually just why she was so keen to also have Zionists on her own Ning, allowing activists to be sharing information with people who are on the opposite side of the political fence, which only made her grow more rabid and increase her threatening language. It would have been nice, and actually crucial, to have explanations, since we are talking about the use of deception to involve activists in her private things, which turn out to be close to obsessions. But instead, the deception grew to mastodontic proportions, and it opened up a Pandora’s Box that almost seems like a B-Movie populated by a cast of goofballs, but the sad part is, its not a movie. There are real people involved.

After befriending this unwitting activist, her personal contact with him became abusive and demanding. He was told by her that she was being stalked particularly by some Arab men who were in the Ning groups, and she pleaded with him to write to one in particular: she wanted him to write threatening letters, pretending to be her father to in order to tell the person in her cross-hairs to stop harassing and stalking her. In good faith, this person believed her and did this. Only later did he begin to find out just who this woman was, see the deceptive ways she operates and see the potential risk of the honey trap, (to what ends, at this time, we still do not know) and he decided, also knowing the aggressive nature and penchant for spamming private and very delicate information about her “selected victim” to go ahead anyway and expose the situation, to protect others from falling into this trap as well as to protect the cause.

She of course was unable to deny any of the claims made, but raged into a series of incredible defenses in a quite entertaining Facebook conversation, her own interventions cancelled by herself, but several people have them archived, since her libel against all and sundry was her tactic of defense. Within that surreal conversation she wrote this:

Besides being unable to spell the name of her own site, she made some pretty tall claims: telling a pretty well-known Gazan that SHE was the expert on what Zionists do and she still had her suspicions that he might be a double agent or an infiltrate. SHE knew all about Zionists killing and that they were after her, so she had to check the bonafides of those she would render her services to, claiming she was about to become the Editor in Chief of a Palestinian site that already built up its reader base. She smeared one and all with all manner of personal information, but the most incredible part was her claim that she was anonymous because she was the victim of a death threat, and she sent the links to prove it.

BOO!

Serious stuff! It turns out a death threat did exist, but not to her, but rather to another person, someone in Oklahoma, not where she resides, as evidenced by the IP numbers corresponding to her attempts to threaten on Palestine Think Tank and other sites, where we have a record of all the interactions. The link, rather than corroborate her story, showed that she was self-aggrandizing by pretending to be the person who brought to court a known harasser, when nothing much more complicated than a Google check verifies it was someone else entirely. Looking at Steven Horn’s picture is enough to scare anyone isn’t it?  Just like flowers and poetry is enough to convince anyone of one’s “peaceful nature” when her trail of Internet bread crumbs leads down the rabbit hole of sheer lunacy. Now, why would she make a claim that was so false and easy to debunk if anyone would be bothered? Evidently, it’s just habit, Rabbit.

Not content with a lone loony after her, she states that the Mossad is after her too, the Zionists will stop at nothing to make her silent, which is probably a figment of her own deluded mind. Just as are her claims that she is Muslim, (just believe her, she is!) and makes posts about it as well, that she would wish to don the veil (though she is ostensibly already anonymous!) against the horrible attacks of others.

Who is “Geneviève”?  Is she anything that she claims to be?

Does “Geneviève” live in Paris as she claims?  Is she a journalist?  Is she in her thirties? Was she a model a few years ago as she claimed in her emails to various men, which included sexy pictures of herself in a red beret and another in a swimsuit called “Wet”?  Does she have a history of traced behavior which exemplifies integrity?

The answer to all of these questions is no.

How was her true identity discovered? She herself allowed this to happen by her incessant emailing. By tracing an email she used to contact activists with, she had to use one of her many email addresses. This lead to a site or two where her Internet relationships started to reveal themselves, complete with enough drama to fill a soap opera for several seasons. Then one victim of her hostility was called who simply said what her name was. The forum in which she was discovered concerned dog training methods, but it seems her internet activity spans literally hundreds of sites. Just as she seems to have spammed many a site with the phone numbers of anyone she wants to, others have exchanged the favor. Her phone number is readily available on the Internet, a reverse phone search was made, it is a land-line registered to her husband, Saul Perks. That phone is not in Paris, it is in British Columbia, evidently a small town in the Great White North is nowhere near as sexy as the city of light. She was called and woman sharing the same name given by one of “Geneviève’s” former friends responded. This woman knew all there was to know about “Geneviève”, aka 4threichisrael. She also CLAIMS to be in contact herself with all the very activists “Geneviève” is in contact with! Now how likely is that?  She talked up a storm, even slipped up when told that her post smearing other activists had been published in a forum concerning Hepatitis C.  The woman who was called at Saul Perks’ phone number stated, “I didn’t post that anywhere like that”.

“Geneviève”, as she has chosen to name herself in our community, goes by many online names, “Mirelle” “showdogbark” Vera Mahina, so many it taxes one’s comprehension but never does she post as herself, Vera Perks of Silverton, British Columbia, a tiny village of 185 (2006). Age 56, married to Saul Perks.

In BC on the PC: Just a few examples of the tangled web “Geneviève” Vera Perks has woven for herself.

She claimed to be a ”registered psychiatrist“ as “Mirelle”(comment #39) while as “showdogbark” she claimed to be a Gestalt therapist and then a psychologist (same thread, comment #37) a detective and busy writing petitions in city council.

Indeed “Geneviève” has claimed to be many different things.  Where “Geneviève’s” true sociopathy becomes clear in her use of multiple online identities and claims is when she is confronted for it, (proven by her IP number comment #10. For added bonus read comment #5 where “showdog” “Geneviève” Vera Perks wrote of an upcoming Science of Spirituality conference she planned to attend).

What was her reaction? It will chill you to the bone: (here comment #20) because “Genevieve”/”Mirelle” who in fact is Vera Parks of Silverton, British Columbia boasts of her deceit, claims others copy it, and that she is wasting her time responding because “it is taking my time on my Islamic sites”.  All are intrigued by her, her admirers everywhere have many questions she needs to answer, though no one will ever figure her out. When “Geneviève” was last confronted on Facebook and then here at PTT, she claimed she was being libeled. She had not done the things she had been accused of.  That was her answer.

Has “Geneviève” Vera Perks behaved in the manner in which she was accused of before?  Yes. The following was written by “Geneviève” Vera Perks and is dated April 2, 2007

And we ask anyone: How is that different from what was claimed in our last posting her about “Geneviève”? How is that different from what she did to Maik, the activist who first assumed the responsibility of doing housecleaning in our community, and to other people? She admits she does it! What do Saul and his wife need personal info for? (If we are even supposed to believe her that her husband is involved in her madness, which seems totally unlikely).

Now, Mrs. Perks, should you be reading this, it is clear that you admitted yourself (following the electronic path from material you yourself sent out in personal emails to persons, which were not hacked, but quite personal and from you, connecting this identity to many of the others, some 30 or so, just by a random glance, many various email addresses as well, but damn… that  IP keeps showing all the time when those who have gotten sick of you start to expose you). It is not any false claim by Maik. It is you who blatantly state that you fabricate personal info, which you obtain together with your husband Saul, using sex so that you can “splatter personal info all over the net”. We’ve seen the fellatio threads, certainly there are other interesting things we missed. We’ve seen you splatter things all over the net from people who befriended you, including accusing them of being pedophiles, killers and other psychopathic and sociopathic beings. Where now is it that you don’t seem to get the point? You need to wear something to cover your face, but not for protection, but for shame.

And those who expose you, Mrs. Perks, are not just doing it because they don’t agree with your points of view, they expose you as a fake, simply debunked all of your growing mythology. One thread in your web in particular focuses on claims you made about your career as a Psychiatrist, you and your husband’s many diseases, careers and intense activism. You reveal as well what you define as your own master/slave relationship. If nothing else, it certainly makes for incredible reading. It’s a weird family. But that’s not really the problem, indeed, one starts to feel pity for her husband. We know she is not who she claims, her birth date is 1954, her real name has been given over the net again and again, and this woman has an amazing record of harassing others on Internet. In addition to the smear post on Maik last week, she decided right now to harass Steve Amsel because he lives in Occupied Jerusalem, a fact he never denied, in fact his bio right here on Palestine Think Tank states just where he resides. But while he is honest about where he lives, she made a little boo-boo in finding out what she thinks is going to be a means to trash him. And it wasn’t someone telling anyone who she was, she told us herself.  On the Me Peace Ning where she is registered as Geneviève we also see HER hometown. And (surprise surprise) it’s not Paris, it’s VANCOUVER. Just a stone’s throw from the same place where she was phoned by a person who was disgusted by the smearing of Maik about something that she had no right to even publicize, though he himself has not made a secret of it. Not content to spread personal information she added her own little bits about the approval of the use of crack, information about a possible medical condition of her target which she has no business to even mention (if indeed it is even true, but given her total commitment to deception, the difference between truth and lies is non-existent).

And that phone call revealed a total confusion between who the characters involved are, who does what and from where. There were all manner of contradictory statements made, including claims of being chased down by the Mossad herself, as was, of course Geneviève in Paris. Mrs. Perks had an “answer” for everything, just as does “Geneviève”.  Yet Mrs. Perks thinks she can create a web of multiple personalities to not only talk to herself, but also deceive.

This quite simply is not behavior which is beneficial to the cause of Palestine.  This is nothing more than a sick game played by someone with a computer because she CAN.

Why the information we have provided to you here is crucial for your protection:

If one is the manager of a Ning, as is “Geneviève”, one can create a Ning that will ‘attract’ a certain type of person, in order to obtain the maximum amount of information about that person as well as the maximum amount of contact information, all of this, with the users’ consent, with the simple act of voluntarily signing on.

Trust is crucial in this activism. The moment trust is eroded in a malicious manner and for the purpose of obtaining confidential information to utilize for personal gain especially in campaigns to denigrate that are the core instrument of hasbarists, we have a breakdown that needs to be amended. One of the most severe and widespread misdemeanors is information mining, (for selling of information, passing it to others who may cause harm, putting difficulties into campaigns and investigations, which for those working to debunk Zionist hasbara, the need for reliable sources is of the essence and the confidentiality of the information is not an optional), through scare tactics to push persons into acting in ways that they would not otherwise do, through the invasion and violation of privacy, which leave a paper trail that can harm the activists and the movement.

How is all of this accomplished? Back in the old days, infiltrates were put into activist groups, or phones were tapped or people were followed around. It took money and probably a lot of acting talent, and too often, it was slow and inefficient, and anyway, most don’t volunteer their information. But all of that has changed. Information mining has been greatly enhanced through Internet and especially through the system of the Google Ning. The Ning allows one person to establish a social network and to obtain by voluntary means, the IP numbers, names, screen names, affiliations, beliefs, as well as CONTACTS that the person on the Ning has with anyone else in any other Ning. It is a database that is almost limitless.

It’s not always clear why the smear artists like “Geneviève” do these things, but one thing is indeed true: they often hurt innocent ‘bystanders’ that do not have the backbone or expertise to counter these ‘attacks’. Folks who do not hide behind fake photos, who do not adopt fake names, who do not have multiple identities, who are traceable and who don’t choose the figure of a young woman using the Keffiyah as a mask. The Keffiyah should never be dragged in the mud like this.  While it is unpleasant to have to deal with these sorts of persons, those whose lives are dedicated to work towards the liberation of Palestine will not tolerate these games among our ranks, nor will we accept the cavalier attitude that this kind of activity is in any way acceptable. It is not disagreements about a thought or idea, which we welcome and always hope to stimulate, it is personal smears and attempts to destroy the reputation of another by suggesting things that are untrue. Thus, the smears will continue, but they cannot and will not stop those of us that have invested lifetimes in the struggle, and we will continue to expose the campaigns, as we have always done.

As for her being a Muslim, perhaps to gain more trust among those who are Muslims in the activist circles she wants to infest, if one does a tiny bit of digging, from her own cyber trail one finds that she is instead interested in Science of Spirituality, and she was off to a seminar in year in Orlando FL to see her guru, which brings out more interesting stories of her real life adventures, and one can find them on their own, if they are so inclined to enter into a mad world outside normalcy. Just follow the bread crumbs of a seemingly endless cyber trail. There may be nothing at all weird about SOS, but why she would not want to admit to her interest in it, enough interest to attend a seminar. It is mysterious, but she has left signs: her very motto is one of the Bahai mottos, Injury to One is Injury to All. It is unfortunate that Injury to others seems to be her preferred hobby.

Maybe she really cares about Palestinians, but that fact becomes basically irrelevant when we see what her actions are all about. Why would she want to bring down all these people who are active in the movement in a public way? And why would she, a person who has no track record of any kind, under her own name or one of her fake names of ever doing anything, anything at all, such as signing a petition even, (although we did find a petition for Pensioner’s benefits in Canada signed by Mirelle Bonte, one of her more popular nyms) or organizing any activities or in any way participating in even ONE single activism event or statement, need to undermine their integrity, which is currency in activism? Her record is a gaping hole. All we have is a site that traps people by means of Orientalism that is actually pretty offensive, mixed information that runs from Holocaust Revision to basic pro-Palestinian material to Purple Sparkling Flowers and Pictures of swooning Medieval Maidens. Nothing at all CONCRETE that shows she has done anything that we can verify or trace as in any way supporting the Palestinian cause, or any cause actually. No community activism under her real name, no petitions, nothing whatsoever. What evidence is there of this person ever even leaving her computer?  Evidently, she doesn’t seem too keen to really DO something besides just typing out her erratic posts and poems, (if they are hers).

What drives her is still a mystery, boredom, madness, sexual appetite, political interest (of what nature, we don’t know) and need to involve herself in many things, in anonymity for herself and the use of heavy deception, but with the modus operandi of smearing anyone she wants to harm (and these are people who have exposed the deception in order to protect others who may fall into this trap and the causes that they are affiliated with). This is an old fashioned concept called solidarity between activists. It’s a sad reality that there is a falling out between activists, and sometimes it turns bitter. But to contribute to damaging someone, or to allow someone to be damaged though not any longer directly affiliated is wrong. We must honor something that was good while it lasted by simply seeing it off into its coffin with a peaceful and constructive spirit. But, petty people won’t have any of that. They will leave an endless trail of poison to make you even regret you had anything to do with them. And, this is worse when caught in the middle of it is the cause for the necessary liberation of Palestine. No petty behavior is worth risking the primacy of that cause.

The cause we are speaking of is in this case the Palestinian cause. Dramatically under-funded, ragtag organized by hundreds of thousands of people who have no clear idea of what exactly is the way to act or even what the core issues are. The lack of one clear political agenda breeds some internal problems from the outset, in addition to the ones coming from the Zionists. How can this cause and its activists be endangered from within? It’s easy. It’s the way things already work with the demonization of the cause by the Zionists.

Name-calling, ad hominem attacks, allegations without substantiation. Just modify the name-calling slightly and bingo, you get what you want done. People are fragile and wish to defend their good name. Those involved are so frequently already subject to all kinds of attempts to damage, smear and harm them from the Zionists, just change the attacks around a little and you can continue to do the Zionists’ work: labeling them as racists, terrorists, traitors, etc., thus endangering them in a personal way, restricting their freedom and forcing those who, at great personal expense and risk, are transparent, use their names to express their views and verify their information prior to circulating it. They risk personally, economically, emotionally, and even in a way that reflects upon their rights. That they have already allowed this level of exposure seems to encourage (primarily) anonymous attackers, who believe they themselves will never be unmasked. But, in case they didn’t know, being public does not make one weaker, it makes one stronger. It is the force of reliability and accountability that matters in this area of work.

So, why was the exposure of this unethical activity done here? Activists and activism are often under fire. For a variety of reasons, throughout the recorded history of activism, people who invest their lives and energy for a cause, no matter what that cause might be, have been the targets of smear campaigns. Call it ‘political assassination’ if you like….

Those who do the smearing seem to have issues that aren’t political, but personal, and many times, simply to look noble, they will drag political arguments in right next to the insults and insinuations. Yet, time and time again they are exposed for what they are: nothing but feeble attempts to stop the struggles we are engaged in by either destroying the adversary by associating them with false information they believe no one will bother to check up on, or to divide the movement itself using, obviously, the same techniques.

A common feature of them is that they are quite often done from the position of splendid anonymity, that way, it is easiest to throw the greatest amount of dirt without accountability and also be able to eliminate the traces once the lies have been exposed. Those who engage in these campaigns tend to use the time-tested modus operandi of run-of-the-mill con artists: they attempt to establish trust by entering into the intimate sphere of people, where their defenses are lowered and they become more vulnerable because their privacy is at stake. They get in by all kind of means, from legitimate ones such as standard discourse to those that attract the narcissists such as the promise of revealing special information by means of using self-proclaimed occult powers, flirtation and the ever-popular praise, they are busy befriending persons in order to obtain personal information. They seem to have an addiction to this kind of behavior in all their social circles, and unfortunately, it extends into campaigns where integrity is currency, and therein lies the danger. The problem is, once the smear artists, gag artists or gatekeepers have private information, they don’t hesitate to also spam it around websites. The moment you become their enemy, real or perceived, it’s only a matter of time before they are online spamming vicious things about you too.

It seems that the best thing to do is to make people aware and to encourage them to steer clear of such deception. “Geneviève” has been shown herself to have wrought havoc in our community, all the while playing the innocent victim. Now with the discovery of her true identity, we did the work so you don’t have to, but don’t trust us, tromp around on your own, but put your hip boots on: years of the same behavior being discovered, the proof has been laid bare.

You saw how Vera sees herself in the picture that opened this exposè, then how she morphed into a young Palestinian woman wrapped in the Keffiyah. This is how we see her. Let those you know whose information she may be mining and who may one day find themselves at the other end of her insane fury know all about her. We do feel a bit ashamed to know we were the last ones to have discovered her games, as most of this information has been around for years, but not too many of us are frequenting doggie forums.
