“STOP SLANDERING THE JEWS” ~~ FIDEL CASTRO TO AHMADINEJAD

“This went on for maybe two thousand years,” he said. “I don’t think anyone has been slandered more than the Jews. I would say much more than the Muslims. They have been slandered much more than the Muslims because they are blamed and slandered for everything. No one blames the Muslims for anything.” (If only the last part were true….. the Muslims seem to get blamed for everything these days)

Fidel Castro tells Ahmadinejad: Stop bashing the Jews

“The Jews have lived an existence that is much harder than ours. There is nothing that compares to the Holocaust,” ageing revolutionary tell U.S. journal The Atlantic.

Cuba’s former leader Fidel Castro has urged Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to stop slandering the Jews, according to an article published on the U.S. website The Atlantic on Tuesday.

The ageing revolutionary devoted much of a five-hour conversation to the issue of anti-Semitism, wrote Jeffrey Goldberg, who interviewed Castro in the Cuban capital Havana.

Castro told The Atlantic that the Iranian government should understand the consequences anti-Semitism.

“This went on for maybe two thousand years,” he said. “I don’t think anyone has been slandered more than the Jews. I would say much more than the Muslims. They have been slandered much more than the Muslims because they are blamed and slandered for everything. No one blames the Muslims for anything.”

He added: “The Jews have lived an existence that is much harder than ours. There is nothing that compares to the Holocaust.”

Asked by Goldberg if he would repeat his comments to Ahmadinejad, Castro said. “I am saying this so you can communicate it.”

Following the interview, Goldberg spoke with Haaretz about his impression of the thinking behind Castro’s comments.
“I think he [Castro] realizes he’s gone too far in certain criticisms of Israel,” Goldberg said.
“I think he wants to be a player in this issue; and I think he’s genuinely offended by Holocaust denial.”

Ahmadinejad has publicly called the Holocaust “a myth”, claiming Jews exaggerated the Nazi genocide to win sympathy from European governments.

How can anyone verify what Casro has really said? Is Cuba trying to get an advantage at Iran’s expense?

    Sam has an important point.

Nothing the Atlantic publishes deserves credence at face value – much less coming from the pen of ũberwhore Goldberg. Many of us know The Atlantic as nothing more than an American-based Israeli propaganda organ.

The issue of what Castro actually said is important inasmuch as to insure nothing was either lost – or downright deliberately misrepresented – in translation. And I don’t put it past anybody at the Atlantic to behave any differently than the deceptive little shits at MEMRI did, for whom “Israel is destined to dissappear ” in Farsi translates to “we will wipe Israel off the map” in English for the Goyim.

Misrepresentations, exaggerations, and outright bald-faced lying to convey the appearance of victimization is the consistent chorus of Zionist discourse from Hertzl to Wiesel to Goldberg et al. If this irresistible resort to deceptive fabrication among Zionists rightly brings a thinking person to call into their question claims about Iraqi WMDs, Iranian belligerence, Palestinian savagery, and whatever threaten poor little Israel – by virtue of what logical principle should the Jewish account and narrative of their mass deportations in the 1940s be exempt of the same scrutiny?

Gilad Atzmon recently pointed out that no Holocaust industry scholar or authority has yet taken an objective look at the real causes and circumstances causes of German anti-semitism – or any other instance of anti-semitic sentiment for that matter.

Maybe if Jews took a hard honest look at their past and current selves, routing out the morbid collective and ideology of the men they call leaders, their collective and collective behavior would change enough that they might find themselves less the brunt of “slander”. Until they do, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. The State of Israel has no intentions of changing its behavior. The hatred will only grow, until no will care enough to distinguish a Zionist from a Jew.

Hating people for what they are is base and stupid. Hating people – even passionately – for what they do – and the pride they take in doing it – isn’t at all.

What do you call someone who rapes and shouts rape? Or a murderer who gets indignant when called out? A body snatcher that cries “blood libel” when confronted?

Everyone is his own worst enemy until you take bolder notice of it. That includes God’s Chosen too.

I dont think Ahmadinejad would have a problem having a conference or even sending someone to Mr.Castro to explain his position.. Castro said allot, and he also didnt say allot which can also make you wonder..

Castro is a tool, but to deny the Holocaust happened or to say it was an exaggeration is pure evil. Tell that to the millions of Gypsies, Jews, Slavs, etc…. it happened, and it was THAT bad.

Doesn’t give the Zionists a right to do what they do now though.

And it takes a lot more than a boycott of “Israeli goods” to stop their atrocities. You realize your tax $$ goes to Israel, right? Boycotting is just plain stupid and it never really works – not for matters this large.

    Elena
Try to read Churchill’s Memoirs and then discuss the events of the WWII.
Highly recommendable would be transcript from the Yalta Conference and the Report of the International Red Cross on Auschwitz. Just for a start.
