I couldn’t believe what was on TV yesterday. There was some dude carrying a cross through Jerusalem in honor of Passover. Didn’t the Jews kill Jesus? Thanks for all your hard work. Peace.

Yes on TV yesterday the Passover was honored by some dude carrying a cross trough the streets of Jerusalem. Yet the Jews killed Jesus, what a farce.

Don’t rewrite history Rick…. it was the Romans.

Yeah right, it was the Romans.

    They crucified Jesus for oil.

Hey, that was pretty hilarious and the chick was kind of hot. Anyways it was the Romans who killed jebus (at the with the cooperation of their Jewish compradors) and ironically enough they are the ones who brought xianity to it’s prominence a few hundred years later. If it was not for Constantine being a weirdo we would have all been spared a lot of misery.

How absolutely horrible. That will promote ant-semitism, just like the Israeli treatment of the Palistinians creates hatred for the “Jewish State”!

  9. April 23, 2011 at 21:35

Is that real? What was the broadcast date and network? Pretty shocking, and I’m jaded.

    But it is genuine, eh?

I don’t want to get suckered into publishing it as an authentic Israeli TV presentation, and then discover it is not. The Youtube has been up since last September, but appears to have only gone viral over the past two days. I suspect that if it is genuine, the fact that it has now gone so viral (google “Toffee VeHa-Gorillah” to see), will get somebody to try to pull it ASAP. Remember what happened to Max’s “Feeling the Hate in Jerusalem.”

    Unfortunately, it IS genuine.
But I must point out this is not a reflection of the mainstream of Israeli’s thinking. It is ignorant and racist …. not all Israelis are either.

That was scary for children. And, it will probably make kids MORE curious about Christianity rather than keep them from it.

When I was in school I had no knowledge of sex or drugs, not even any curiosity about either one, that is, until they started giving us sex education classes and drug awareness classes. After that, I couldn’t get enough sex and drugs!

Good luck with your anti-Christian video there, Shlomo!

I’m aware of that, but with kid’s programs like this, it might be easier to understand some of the recent polls on the growing prevalence of racist stereotypical thinking in many Israeli youth and young adults.

Unfortunately, ignorance and racist stereotyping happens all over the world. It is disgraceful no matter which religious group is the victim.

Julius Caesar was the first to challenge the power of the Talmudic money changers, so they had him killed
Jesus Christ then challenged their power by trying to throw them out of the Temple for cheating the people and well that just could not be tolerated, they owned the high Jews and the Roman Government, together they knew that they had to kill him before he instigated a popular uprising against them

Once Jesus turned the tables upside down inside the Temple, (which was used for usury, forbidden in Judaism) he became the target of the Head Rabbis who collaborated with the Romans to have him executed for claiming to be the “Messiah” which at the time was not a punishable crime. If someone claimed to be the President of USA , would you have him executed, or just label him a MAD.

Of course all Israelis aren’t sociopaths.

After all, upwards of an astounding 10% of Israelis were totally against the “Cast Lead.”

And only 60% as of last week are for a new war on Gaza.

At least until the massacres start.
Then, I imagine, much like the bloody Americans, they’ll support the troops like good little heel clickers do pretty much everywhere.

I don’t belong to any religions (you don’t need one to believe in the one that they call God) but do respect all of them……even the one of the “real” Jews.

Oh, such wonderful and open people. There is someting horribly and collectively wrong with Israeli society. They should be outracized from the international community (which wants to live peacefully).

  21. April 24, 2011 at 01:04

Apalling… But it is done to keep people away from the true meaning of Christianity, which is to help and love your fellow man… Something that is foreign to the Talmudic Jews who believe in conning and deceiving their fellow human being!

That is an important point. There are lots of shock jocks here in the U.S. and I would not want to be judged by what they do. Can you imagine if the entire world felt all “Americans” thought like Howard Stern or those immature radio personalities? Just because it is authentic does not mean it represents a majority opinion.

Guess what? All religion is an invention of man.

Every single human civilisation, no matter how primitive, has developed a transcendental belief system of one type or another.

Peoples willingness to accept these belief systems is based on one thing that all humans share, fear of death, which is why most religions invariably promise some form of eternal existence.

At this time of year people are talking of Easter and associating it with Jesus. Well, Easter is in fact an ancient Babylonian religious festival. It was a holiday to honour the goddess of fertility Ishtar. Ishtar also spelled Istar, became Easter. That’s why fertility symbols such as eggs and bunny rabbits symbolise Easter.

Jesus himself is an amalgamation of previously invented deities. There are dozens of characters in the Mediterranean and Eastern religions that were born of a virgin, performed miracles, died and rose again after three days.

Here are a few deities that were born of virgins – Horus, Dionysus, Mithras, Osiris, Buddha, Krishna, Attis.

Why should these characteristics exist in so many religions and cultures across such a large geographical area? Basically, when stripped down most religions are based on the first religion, which was the worship of the Sun.

The allegorical nature of the lives of the deities actually hides within it an understanding of the nature of the Earth’s annual journey around the Sun, for example the dying and rising again after three days is a representation of the winter solstice, which is why Christmas is celebrated immediatelty after the winter solstice.

It’s a very interesting subject that provides tremendous rewards for those minds which are not encumbered and enslaved under a religious dogma.

    Happy Istar.

The fact that this very primitive skid was presented on Israeli TV channel speaks volumes about ‘the only democracy in the Middle East’.
And now, I believe that all anti-Muslim propaganda comes from the same source: Israelis who want us to believe that they are ‘the chosen’ ones by their tribal god. And those are the people who believe that Jacob was beating up their God all night to force the God to give Jacob … God’s blessing. Ever since, Jacob called himself ‘Israel’ – which means: the one that was fighting God.
Nothing has changed since the time of Jacob. The sons of Jacob(Israel) are still here.
    Happy Easter

    DesertPeace,

You wrote yesterday, regarding my concerns about this video:

It’s from 2007….. I’ll try to find out some background info on it tomorrow.

I wrote a post for my blog and for firedoglake, based on the video. People at fdl questioned whether the video is real, or possibly from some minor community channel. Now my post seems to have been taken down because “this piece has the smell of the notorious “Protocols of the Elders of Zion.””

Have you been able to find more background info on the show and its producer/broadcaster?

Tragically much of The Christian Church is corrupt at the top and stick with me here, could not make this crap up. Some are in reality closeted Satanists. It sounds like a damn James Bond novel; but in the Church with intelligence agency ties and all to make the story complete. Nope, know a few of them and tragically the situation is misrepresented to The American People and much of The Christian Church. They really believe those mean ol Arabs just like to murder Jews just because they don’t like Jews. and they really believe it. The situation is presented to them so bass ackwards and the theology corrupted and the history of the region is rewritten.

This is wrong. God it is so wrong.

Tragically over in Israel I think it is the same situation as Nazi Germany. Not every German supported Hitler either; but the crazy and corrupt have the guns and I think the Zionist movement and those that hate Jesus really are a bigger percentage than they would like to admit. Not sure; but just a guess.

    Tragic

They lie and people die and they all live in comfort I notice. Not many seem to be giving it all up for Jesus or God. They live very, very well in fact.

I don’t care what anyone, anyone says Jesus would condemn shooting a child of any race in fact all of this for the most part. I am not the worlds greatest theologian; but I know him much better than that.

People devouring other people alive all in the name of the God of love. We have evolved zero. Still the same ol sinning slobs.
Solomon was right: There’s really nothing new under the sun

Breaks my heart. I just can’t believe anyone would do this. I know they do.

Time – Its on my side
    This crap ends.

There will literally be hell to pay
    No pun intended

I am one of the scriptwriters

This video wasn’t played on the tv, only on the internet pilot, on flix website, before bip bought the program. it didn’t offend anyone that time, although there are many christians in Israel.

The intention of the video didn’t mean to offend the feeling of the christians, it’s a parody on the israeli chauvinist 70′s tv programs, by exagerating, so it’s critical about the israeli system. other programs were about 1967 war, and Adam and Eve etc. this program put an anti-militaristic agenda in israeli tv. so it’s funny that website like you attacks it.
    http://www.flix.co.il/tapuz/showVideo.asp?m=1337219.

The translation here is not accurate (eg there is no f-word), and this is one of the reasons for all the trouble. It seems like someone wanted to pore oil on this fire.

Sorry for anyone who was offended by it. :)

In Hebrew it says “זה לקיים יחסי מין עם גויה”, which can be translated as “this means to copulate with a goyah”, or also “this means to screw-up a goyah”, and also as an euphemism for “it means to get fucked up with a goyah”.

@chickyoo — now find me another alleged “mistranslation” from the video.
