Wherever I go I see young people wearing t shirts with the image of this man. Who is it?
Why is he such a hero?

Do we know anything at all about him?

The image is of one of the greatest revolutionaries in our time. A man who was called Ernesto Guevara, more commonly known simply as ‘Che’.

A man so hated by the American government that they orchestrated his assasination in the jungles of Bolivia in October of 1967.

This happened almost forty years ago, yet the man, the image, continues to inspire millions of people throughout the world. His love for justice took him to many lands. A true example of International Solidarity in our time.

He will always be remembered and loved by all who strive for freedom.

A true revolutionary…however, did you ever stop to think that somewhere out there, a capitalist has gotten rich by selling T-shirts with his face on them? Sickening, eh?

That’s very true Brian… but even if ONE person starts asking “who was that guy”, and starts learning about Marxism because of it, it’s worth it. Look at it as an investment. One day that capitalists assets will be nationalised and the profits will benefit everyone… think positive 😉

I guess you’re right…capitalists have no problems selling us the rope to hang them with!
