SPECIAL POSTING ON ADOPTION~~BY REQUEST

A very dear friend asked me to post this for her… it is of interest as it involves members of Herr Lieberman’s party. Not only do they have no regard for the Palestinians… it looks like they have no regard for children either.
Below is the post….

“Israel Beiteinu MK Sofa Landver has called on the government to improve the process whereby families adopt children from abroad and to reduce the $20,000 fee.

“Landver is chairwoman of the Knesset’s Public Petition’s Committee, which met Tuesday to discuss the plight of families hoping to adopt internationally. She told The Jerusalem Post that sometimes adoptions performed independently of state-licensed nonprofit organizations were less expensive and far more straight-forward.”

This is a huge mistake! Over the past two decades American adoption has become increasingly privatized. It is riddled with corruption and exploitation. Those trying to adopt are faced with scams and rip-offs on a daily basis. Expectant mothers and those who represent them take money for expenses and often – over 50% – decide not to place the child for adoption. It is nearly impossible to prosecute these cases of the difficulty to prove that it was the intent to not go through with the adoption and thus commit fraud. Many people have lost thousands and thousands of dollars and had their dreams and hearts shattered. Two adoption facilitators were arrested for taking money after showing photos of Russian children that did not exist.

On the other side of the coin are expectant and new mothers who are exploited both domestically and internationally by baby brokers. Many nations have halted international adoptions or tightened regulations (most recently China) because of trafficking in human lives. Babies are stolen and sold, offered as orphans when they are not. There is a very fine line between gray and black market and countries in political and financial turmoil are ripe for corruption.

Adoption needs to be government regulated to protect all the parties, especially the most vulnerable – the children. Without government regulations it changes from finding a healthy home for children who need a family, to procuring babies as merchandise for those who can afford to pay the fee – no questions asked. Pedophiles, abusers, murderers and other deviants have obtained children via private “adoption.”

Human lives are far too important to be put in the hands of entrepreneurs with nothing but their bottom line in mind. Israel must investigate American adoption before making this dreadful decision. More than a dozen children by Americans from Russia have been killed by their adopters because of lack of screening and counseling in private entrepreneurial adoptions. Two other children were taken in by pedophiles who violated them physically and via photos on the Internet. These are just the tip of the iceberg. It has caused not only harm to the children, but shame to the US and international conflict which Israel can ill afford.

Israel is going BONKERS! I just read about the mother who won the right to impregnate someone with sperm she had saved after her son died at age 20!!

Whose child will it be? Is the mother who carries the child going to be just a “surrogate” rent-a-womb, or the child’s mother. Allegedly 100 women have volunteered for this “noble” deed of carrying on the legacy of a dead man’s heritage. I think they’re all nuts – and don’t know what they’re getting themselves in for — a battle royale with crazed grandparent wannabes who fought over this for four years and spend who knows how much money that could have been used for far nobler causes. they are obsessed with their “blood line” and will be obsessed with how this child is raised.

I see a custody battle brewing!!
