Settler group brings Korans to Palestinians after mosque attack

A delegation of Israelis from the West Bank on Sunday brought copies of the Koran to the Palestinian village of Yasuf, where two days earlier a mosque was torched and vandalized allegedly at the hand of angry settlers.

The delegation from the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, led by peace activist Rabbi Menachem Froman, met the village elders at a nearby checkpoint after being held up for several hours by the Israel Defense Forces.

The delegation said they brought the Muslim holy books to show their condemnation for the attack and to replace those burnt by vandals.

Apparently they have got their hearts in the right place, but what about their knowledge of geography?

If they want to be perceived to be righteous Jews they better live on their own land.

    Walk your talk.

Those human Jews are still living on former Palestinian land.

Just when it was getting easy to lump all Jews in with the terrorist Zionist along comes a few human beings to remind us that governments seldom represent the people of a nation accurately. The government of my nation certainly doesn’t represent my thoughts when they march around the world killing babies, woman and unarmed citizens of nations who have never posed a threat of any kind to this country.

Again DP you bring out the best in the worst and as always you spot light the worst for the world to decide on their own. You are truly a journalist worthy of the pulitzer prize for journalism. Unfortunately for you that prize only goes to undesreving puppets of the Zionist controlled media services.

When the ordinary observer is allowed to nominate and vote for such honors of distiction you will get your honor. While the Obama’s and Begin’s and other warmongers will be stripped of theirs as they enter the world courts to answer for the deaths of the innocents they have selfisly taken in their greedy pursuit of world domninace.

Praise be unto you always DP. You are worthy of the best prayers and the finest accolades for your unbiased assessment of the middle east turmoil.

so a thief from the pack of thieves feels bad
this thief goes and gets a “I feel sorry” card and gives it to the home owner they just robbed
and this is a good thing?
a thief is still a thief, even if they are nice about it…

Sam and Tim you may be right about the land but give these people there due. They deserve recognition for humanity that seems so rare these days.

That’s certainly nice of them but how do they square this with the fact that they live in a colony built on stolen Palestinian land?

As soon as i saw this, i darkly thought; more false opposition games to confuse a good hearted humanity.

By the human Jews just living in the West Bank gives foundational legitimacy to the non human settlers on which they build agitations of all kinds leading to evictions of Palestinians.

For Rabbi Menachem Froman to come out with his delegation when a mosque is desecrated is not quite the same thing as being there all along in at least silent opposition and witness to the evictions of Palestinians.

Why isn’t he taking the opportunity even at this late time to say to the Palestinians,”Many of you are the descendants of the people of this area who until the 7th century were Jews, so instead of agencies of the State of Israel going to Peru in the search for people who are willing to convert to Judaism, i would earnestly beseech and beg of you to return to the faith of your ancient forefathers. If it would make it easier for you to do this, we ourselves as Jews of Ashkenazi and Khazar and Sephardic origin have had to, at different times, convert for a time to a local other religion until the repression of the day passed.” ?
