SIDING WITH EVIL

“I do agree that it was wrong of me to say that Israel or the pro- Israel lobby is to blame for America’s flawed foreign policy,” the director said on Wednesday. “Of course that’s not true, and I apologize that my inappropriately glib remark has played into that negative stereotype.”

In a statement released on Wednesday night, ADL national director Abraham Foxman welcomed the apology, saying, “I believe he now understands the issues and where he was wrong, and this puts an end to the matter.”

BUT…. it’s NOT the end of the matter as far as the Post’s resident psycho ‘journalist’ Caroline Glick is concerned. Don’t be surprised if an illegal YouTube post soon appears…

As far as she is concerned, this week is ‘springtime for Jew haters’…

She bases this on the following; (referring to Stone)

Readers’ talkbacks to write-ups of his remarks were rife with assertions that Stone’s statements were not bigoted. Many agreed that Jews dominate the media, and since they believe this is true, they argued that saying so is not a bigoted act. Others claimed that while Stone’s statements were inaccurate, there is no evidence that he hates Jews and therefore, his statements weren’t bigoted. At any rate, Patrick Goldstein of the Los Angeles Times and many others have argued, it would be wrong for Stone to be discredited for his attacks against Jews.

It is difficult to imagine that if someone trafficked in ethnic stereotypes about groups like blacks, and claimed that they wreck US foreign policy to serve their own nefarious aims, Goldstein and the talk-backers would defend him.

But then anti-Jewish bigotry has different rules than other hatreds.

She continues her rant with;

ALL OF this brings us to a discussion of the most endemic form of contemporary anti-Semitism: Anti-Zionism. There is no reason for anyone to be surprised that anti-Semites deny that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism. After all, they deny that every other form of anti-Semitism is anti-Semitism. Why should anti-Zionism receive special treatment? It is self-evident that anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism.

Zionism after all is the national liberation movement of the Jewish people. To say that Jews – uniquely among all the nations – have no right to freedom and self-determination is obviously anti-Semitic.

Anti-Semites give a variety of excuses to justify their rejection of the Jewish people’s right to freedom and sovereignty in our homeland. Sometimes they say they have no problem with Jewish nationalism per se. They are simply anti-nationalist generally. But remarkably, these anti-nationalist anti-Zionists invariably just happen to be outspoken supporters of Palestinian nationalism.

Moreover, it is curious that universalist antinationalists only have a special term to describe their opposition to Jewish nationalism. No one ever mentions being anti-Irishist, for instance.

When someone says they oppose Irish nationalism, the obvious conclusion is that they don’t like Irish people. Just so, people who are anti-French tend not to like French people. And yet, the anti- Zionists would have us believe that their opposition to the Jewish state has nothing to do with their feelings about Jews.

Beyond their nonsensical attempts to deny the fact that anti-Zionism is a specific rejection of a specific – that is Jewish – type of nationalism, there is the fact that anti-Zionists tend inevitably to drink from other anti-Jewish sewers as well.

She ends with;

And I am sorry I wrote this column.

Because an audience that demands an explanation of why evil is evil is an audience that has already sided with evil.

She is obviously too thick headed to realise that it is she that is the evil one siding with evil…. and yet she gets paid for this.

Her complete rant can be seen HERE.

So long as the term “anti-semite” is defined by the media, and the ADL, then it makes sense that those of us that seek peace, truth and justice are in fact “Anti-Semitic.” War opposition groups also use terms like “anti US Imperialism,” which according to Glick, would connote antagonism toward all Americans. Which is interesting, because as in Israel, the US is not comprised of a single race. Like Israel, the people who once occupied America were killed, or forced to live in “reservations.” Jews, like Americans, are not a common race. Neither do they define themselves a a religion. Today, they are primarily Israeli nationalist–or, “Zionists.” Otherwise, the concept of Jewishness would seem only to act as a kind of hubris.

What seems to elude Ms. Glick is the obvious comparisons between Israeli behavior and that of another National Socialist movement – a comparison which has been made by even a few daring Israelis who reject the inhuman barbarity of this little rogue nationette.

Which country has the greatest number of UN Sanctions levied against it?

Which country in the world stands in defiance of more sanctions than any other nation on the planet?

The answer, of course, is apparent to anyone who follows world affairs – it is Israel.

It is interesting that Israel’s supporters so promiscuously throw around the term anti-semitism when Semitic Jews are treated as second class citizens in the Zionist Utopia.

Oliver Stone’s comment, while suicidal for someone working in the entertainment industry, was nevertheless an accurate assessment of reality. The entertainment industry both broadcast and motion pictures, as well as banking, are controlled in the United States by Jewish people who by and large are Zionists. While American Zionists may be discomfited by the statement of that fact it is nevertheless a fact. The backlash and instant attacks on Stone by the Zionist controlled media is quite obviously a validation of Mr. Stone’s comment. The Jews that don’t control the media are making sure that Stone’s ill advised moment of candor is not repeated. The irony should be savored for its piquancy. The Jews in the media who don’t control the media are ensuring that Stone no longer has access to the media and that his work will not be aired in the media by the Jews that don’t control the media. And of course the work of Walt and Mearsheimer pointing out the undue influence of the Israel Lobby in American foreign policy punctuates the entire matter with a note of pungency.

I wonder if they’ve taken to creating fake knockdowns from their power, the most notable being Mel Gibson, because they’re worried about just how much power they’ve lost with the economic collapse. (I guess they should’ve watched the Simpsons episode where Mr. Burns sells the nuclear plant to Germans and then realizes he’s lost his control over Springfield.)

Yosemite National Park should be renamed. It contains the contentious word, ‘Semite’.

Jews have played tricky semantic games with ‘Semite’ for centuries. It’s time their game was stopped!

Being anti-israel and anti-zionist is not anti-semetic, it doesnt reference anti-jew.

Jews change the definition of anti-semetism for whatever needs at the moment.

Common rerligion is not a definition of a nation.

There is no such thing as national liberation, with capitalism being a worldwide system. National liberation requires: 1) National question solved. 2) Democratic parliament 3) Land reform. Small countries are pocket change to superpowers.

I support the right to self determination for Hebrew, Arabic and Kurdish speaking people, as part of a socialist Middle East.

It’s funny, when I first starting posting comments critical of Israel on the internet and used the word “Jews” loosely, it was Jews themselves who called me out for not knowing the difference between a Jew and a Zionist. I got slapped around pretty well and I learned my lesson: Decent Jews don’t like being called Zionists. They explained to me that Zionism has nothing to do with Judaism. It is a political philosophy…National Socialism, Jewish style…and is more atheistic than Jewish, of any stripe. So no, there is a difference and don’t let some Zionists try to tell you differently. They want us to think that all Jews are as psychotic as they are. We know better.

Jew mean semite the way Catholic means Swedish

I can’t possibly be anti-semitic. I love the Palestinian people, and I’m against the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan so it’s not possible. Israel, on the other hand is the largest practitioner of anti-semitism on the planet, practicing genocide against the native population of semites in Palestine.

Zionism: because white supremacy has an even uglier sister.

re Ms Glick’s stating: ‘Zionism after all is the national liberation movement of the Jewish people. To say that Jews – uniquely among all the nations – have no right to freedom and self-determination is obviously anti-Semitic.’

First off, this infers that Jews cannot be ‘free’, nor enjoy ‘self determination’ in countries other than Israel, which judging by their great success and pre-eminance in the US and in many other countries wherein they reside, is near to nonsense.

Unique to Zionism’s notion of the Jewish State is the claim that Israel belongs, and is home to, ALL Jews worldwide, no matter where they reside and regardless their citizen status elesewhere.

No other modern nation state is comprised on grounds of such specific ethnocentrism.

France does not ‘belong’ to just those who are ethnically French; Norway doesn’t claim to be home to, nor automatically grant citizen status to ALL Norwegians.

It is a neat trick however, as it automatically consigns dual nationality to Jews everywhere, simultaneously enabling and obligating them to support and defend the Jewish State, even to those Jews who have disagreement with Israeli policy and have no desire to live there.

This conference of a unique status by Zionism to diaspora Jews, and particularly to American Jews who lobby for American military and financial support of Israel regardless of its policies or its conduct towards its non Jewish citizens is that which conflates anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism.

Zionism {and Ms Glick} want it both ways, burdening all Jews with a moral obligation to defend, identify with, advocate for, and offer material support to the Jewish State; while simultaneously abrogating any responsibility to Jews for Israeli excess.

My advice is that Ms Glick should be quite cautious in making categorical statements equating anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism … because we are very near to the point where she will become correct … wherein the moral obligation to oppose Zionism will justify a rational suspicion of and a general antipathy toward Jews everywhere.

Thank God that many Jews are now beginning to wake to the realization that what Zionism now comprises is inherently wrong and does not represent them, and that what Israel does is not done in their names.

Question is, in the {ever more likely} event of a world calamity provoked by an Israeli action, will the world be any more discrimanting than Ms Glick, when assigning the blame?

Glick’s argument that being against Zionism equates to anti-Semitism, and Irish nationalism connotates a hatred of the Irish, is a feeble one at best. In WWII, the Allies fought against Germany, not becaause they hated ethnic Germans, but because they opposed Naziism.

The very existance of the term “anti-Semitism” belies the true essence of Zionism, which is, Jewish supremacy. Why is bigotry against Jews deserving of its own special category, as though it is somehow more abhorrent than bigotry against any other group of people?

Zionism is white supremacy for racist Jews. We can oppose white supremacy without hating white people. Why can she and her ilk not realize that we can also hate Jewish supremacist racism and not hate Jewish people.

This woman and all her cohorts need to realize that we don’t hate them because they’re Jews. We hate them because they’re assholes.
