PHOTO OF THE DAY ~~ WHAT DOES COURAGE LOOK LIKE?

What does courage look like? It looks like every one of the passengers in the Stay Human Freedom Flotilla.  *

And it looks like these Canadian passengers using kayaks to prevent the Greek Coast Guard from raiding their boat…(they were arrested)

Eventually, the Canadian boat was raided and when asked to identify the Captain, passengers responded “We are all the Captain”…

*

The boat was impounded and deliberately damaged by the Coast Guard.

*

THAT’S WHAT COURAGE LOOKS LIKE!

I have great admiration for all the Flotilla#2 members but when the Canadian boat, Tahrir, valiantly attempted to break free of Greece’s grasp (sadly it ended up being boarded and towed back to port) I had to indulge in a bit of Canadian pride too. Especially when I read this …
“Sources told the Guardian that activists in kayaks attempted to protect the Tahrir from Coast Guard interception.”
I did not celebrate Canada Day this year with our military embroiled in the assault against Libya and our government disgracefully siding with Israel in all matters but now I celebrate the fact that there are many good and caring people here and there’s a particularly commendable group of Canadians over in Greece right now who are advocating for Palestinians in the best way they know how. Bravo Tahrir crew and passengers and Viva Palestina!

I must apologize on behalf of the Canadian People. The Harper Regime that controls Canada was elected with only 38% of the popular vote, but the system is rigged so that 62% of us get a government we hate and despise.

Harper is israel’s bend-over bitch, and he hates the desperate , starving innocent children and families of Palestine.

The flotilla is supported by the majority of Canadians, but the majority is oppressed by the sadistic Harper Regime.

I would not want to be in Harper’s evil shoes on his judgement day. God will push him into the hottest part of the hellfires where he belongs.

I salute the bravery of my fellow Canadians for standing up to tyranny. But one has to wonder – Harper vehemently supports Israel with all that ersatz country’s crimes for all the world to see – is Harper sane?!?!?!

Harper is guilty of war crimes for Canada’s continuing murder of innocent men, women, and children in Afghanistan. It should surprise no one that he is Israel’s bitch. No one should expect the Government of Canada to stand up for the Palestinians. We went from one of the most respected nations on earth to one which is becoming more dispicable in it’s actions every day. Thank Almighty God that this nation still has ordinary people who will step forward to do extraordinary things to aid the oppressed.

Just keep doing Ghandi proud. I’ve always believed that really does work. It’s not just Greeks, the American Government, and countries that resemble Nazi Germany, it’s also the rest of the world applauding.

As R. Hamilton has stated, our credibility as a neutral, peace making and peace keeping nation, is almost shot. Five years ago, one could be reasonably certain that their government would assist in time of war or conflict, to protect its citizens. And now we have the official foreign rep of the US essentially granting Israel carte-blanche to attack these extremely brave individuals. Where are the GD Oath Keepers????? Will you remain silent and allow your government permission to wage oppression on American citizens, on the demands of a foreign state?
