Perhaps in hope of appeasing the satanic CIF Watch, the Guardian has hired a new team member that openly incited Israel to murder Americans taking part in future humanitarian flotillas to Gaza.
The Guardian has traditionally been a more or less honest source of news, that obviously is no longer the case.

New Guardian team member openly incited Israel to murder Alice Walker and others

Submitted by Ali Abunimah

In a sad sign of its deterioration, The Guardian has hired a new contributor who openly called on the Israeli army to kill Americans sailing to Gaza, including Pulitzer prize-winning author Alice Walker and Kindertransport refugee Hedy Epstein.

In a statement on its website the newspaper says:

Today the Guardian announced the addition of Josh Treviño to their editorial team. Formerly of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, Treviño will be the newest Correspondent for the Guardian’s growing US politics team through his column “On Politics & Persuasion” which launches on Monday, August 20.

“We are pleased to have Josh join the Guardian,” said Janine Gibson, editor-in-chief of the Guardian US. “He brings an important perspective our readers look for on issues concerning US politics,” added Gibson.

Calls for murder

Apparently, one of those “perspectives” is that those who disagree with Treviño should be brutally murdered.

In June 2011, as several dozen Americans, including Walker and Epsteinattempted to set sail from Greece to Gaza, to break Israel’s blockade along with boats from other countries, Treviño tweeted, “Dear IDF: If you end upshooting any Americans on the new Gaza flotilla – well, most Americans are cool with that. Including me.”

Oh dear, it seems British newspapers are all but losing touch with reality with this bloke.

Its a shame really as my late mother was a journalist and editor for the Times, Guardian, helped set up the Independent to name a few of her achievements but this was in a day when journalists, even op-eds were pretty colour neutral in their writing preferring to just report the news as it stood rather than cherry picking facts and leaning it to political agendas as todays journalists do.

I do have some happy memories of Fleet St, old Hume going into one of his fits of apoplexy when some government so and so tried to stop him printing has to be my favourite but then Murdoch took over and a largely independent media succumbed to the Australian wizened monkey.

All media is forced to hire Israel firsters or advertiser pull their add$ out.
Sad part is some media are 100% infested with them. Like Hollywood flicks–if your not Kosher—you get side railed as extras–fill ins or props.
    Unless your black actor–differant story:^(

Don’t buy any of the papers, don’t subscribe to any of their websites.

The Guardian and others will eventually fold financially.

People need to realise that the hasbarat propagandists are more radicalized than any jihadists, they blindly support a Zionist regime that seeks to plunge the world into another global war, so they can fulfill the talmudic prophecy that all surviving goy will be slaves.

And Israel and the bankers will sacrifice the US completely to get this achieved.

Seems like business as usual at Fleet Street.

Consider the tale of Alfred Harmsworth, Britain’s Lord Northcliffe, who as the Editor/owner of the Times of London was one of the most powerful men in the British Empire at the time of the Great War. Unfortunately for Lord Northcliffe, he challenged the Zionist power structure of the time and eventually paid for that transgression with his life.

    Same assholes different century.

Why does the Guardian need to hire freelance writers who spew hatred to write opinion pieces? Are its editors’ minds so devoid of substance that they have no opinions of their own? Not to mention standards of what they should responsibly publish…

Please do likewise: I sent this official complaint to the BBC tonight using their complaint on line system – what are the chances it will be answered: “Re last night’s BBC 2 Newsnight programme item on Rape and Julian Assange . Having just watched it tonight 21 Aug, on iplayer, I want to make an OFFICIAL COMPLAINT of bias in how the interview was conducted by Gavin Esslar.

The dignified ex British Ambassador, Craig Murray, had great trouble trying to explain his rational reason for supporting Assange But the supposed supporter of women’s issues ( I am left wing and feminist too but I would not want to depend on her black and white, prejudiced view to look after my interests) was allowed to speak over him. Why was Craig Murray’s highly relevant point about the usual practice of accusing whistleblowers of sex and similar crimes not given the space to be aired properly, especially as he had a string of recent high profile examples, including his own to tell of? (I read he was accused of exchanging sex for visas).

The Independent Paper’s Joan Smith sounded unreasoned. One would have expected her to have had a more measured response and some sympathy for this ex Ambassador who lost his job and had to fight to clear his name for taking a brave stand against the the UK government over its secret part in rendition and torture. It is a wonder she didn’t end with an “all men are rapists so Assange must have done it” as this is the underlying message the BBC are peddling against JA and his plight, – on all London Radio 94.9 progs too. The real story for News Night (and The Guardian) is the Ambassador’s story so please cover the sex accusations that he raised as viewers might not be familiar with these highly relevant details as others are..His story gives important context to this whole affair.
