How you can help change the situation…. Read, sign and circulate the following petition…
In December 2012, the Simon Wiesenthal Center published a ranking of the “top ten anti-Semites of the world”, citing me, the cartoonist Carlos Latuff, as third on the list for charges against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel’s bombing of Gaza .There is much that organizations and individuals try to associate legitimate criticism of the state of Israel and hatred of Jews. Figures as writer José Saramago, the Nobel Peace Prize Desmond Tutu and former President Jimmy Carter has been taxed by their anti-Semitic positions regarding the conflict in Palestine.Enough of trying to silence the voice of those who stand up against apartheid imposed by Israel on the Palestinian people. Anti-Semitism can not and should not be used as a political tool. If you are against this manipulation, sign the petition and declare: NO anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism!

OK, I went to the page, but *there’s no link at the top of the page to translate*, as you described in your email. And I don’t read Portuguese. Maybe you could provide some further guidance? I’d like to help, but I can’t tell arse from snout of it.

Redpossum, if you are in the UK , Click on ‘reino unido’ .(United Kingdom). Most of the other countries are easily recognisable. Good luck.

Congratulations to Carlos for making the list. His “cartoons” convey truth, instead of lies, like the hasbara media shills. I’ve seen the one that acknowledges he considers the list as a badge of honor. IMHO, online petitions are a waste of time, but Mr. Latuff’s work is priceless.

I’m in the U.S. and also don’t see an option on the page to translate into English. I’m currently using IE 9 on a Windows 7 PC. I also don’t see an option for United States in the dropdown menu for signatories, nor does “Estados Unidos” appear to be available.

A couple of possible thoughts as to why; 1) might the site be optimized for another browser such as Firefox? Maybe the translation button just doesn’t show up for IE, or this particular version of IE. 2) might the user need to register and log in to find a translation button for the site? I didn’t try to register and log in or sign the petition as I’m reluctant to do so not having been able to read it. 3) might I be unaware of the way “United States” is represented in the dropdown menu for signatories? Anything’s possible, I guess. Hope this is helpful in resolving the issue. Best of luck.
