How a photo turned zionism upside down ….

Guardian editors chose the photo of Bush in front of a menorah (from a 2008 White House Hanukkah ceremony) despite the absence of any references to Jews in the text, and the fact that the media group no doubt has countless other photos of the former president – which don’t include eye-catching symbols evoking one particular religion which isn’t the focus of the editorial – that they could have used instead. The “necessity defense” is only part of the connection between American torture of «terrorists» and Israeli torture of Palestinian detainees. It was determined when the Abou Ghraib scandal ship-hit-the-sand that American methods of torture were largely inspired from Israeli practice. All of that considered, the Guardian’s choice of photo is quite pertinent.

Are those wires I see emanating from each prong to various parts of Bush’s body?

That is par for the course for main stream media (MSM). These “messages” appear often and often out of context. Its an effective sales pitch to make us feel these are the very good guys. Hollywood and MSM have mastered these stage effects. We are being, as in South Pacific, gently taught. Too overt – just switch the channel or walk out of the movie. You are not paying for unwelcome propaganda.
