This must be progress. Nancy Pelosi spoke at the Israel lobby group AIPAC today and said:
As I have often said, the founding of the state of Israel was one of the greatest political achievements of the 20th century.
That’s not true. House Speaker Pelosi has on countless occasions called Israel THE greatest political achievement of the 20th century.
Just three months ago, Pelosi told another Israel lobby group:
I believe that the establishment of the state of Israel was the greatest political accomplishment of the Twentieth Century.
Last spring Pelosi said on her website before bringing a delegation to Israel:
There is no greater political accomplishment in the 20th Century than the establishment of the State of Israel.
It is my firm belief that the establishment of the State of Israel—and you’ve heard me say this at other AIPAC meetings—the 20th Century had some horrible -isms, terrible things were done to people, but it is my firm belief that the establishment of the State of Israel is the greatest political achievement of the 20th Century this great beacon.
Back in 2014 Pelosi welcomed Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington in fulsome terms:
As you know, Mr. Prime Minister – I’ve said it to you so many times – I’ve long held the belief that the establishment of the state of Israel was the most spectacular political achievement of the 20th century.
But today Israel is just one of the greatest political achievements…. Pelosi is surely hearing footsteps on the left.
BTW, Pelosi’s speech was filled with contempt for Palestinians. Though she called for supporting Israel fervently and affirmed “the right of Jewish people to national self-determination,” she said nothing about Palestinian rights, nothing about the Palestinian right to defend themselves or have freedom of movement.
And while Pelosi spoke of countering bigotry against Jews in the US and everywhere, and saluted the several Jews who lead House committees — Nita Lowey, Jerry Nadler, Eliot Engel, Adam Schiff, Ted Deutch, and John Yarmuth– Pelosi had zero to say about Islamophobia, and denounced Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar’s criticisms of Israel as anti-semitic, though she did not mention the Muslim congresswoman by name.
Pelosi also said nothing critical of Benjamin Netanyahu or the Israeli government. Despite the urgent appeal by J Street to call out Netanyahu’s bigotry against Palestinians, Pelosi was silent.
And though she called for a two-state solution, she did so in the name of Israeli security. “A two state solution is not a solution without guaranteed security for Israel. Security security security.” She said not a word about Palestinian security. Pelosi was thus expressing racism against Palestinians.

He who looks away is guilty

March 24, 1999, was the day Nato forces began to bomb the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It was the first war outside of an “alliance” and without explicit UN approval, with the participation of Germany with the first combat mission of German troops after the end of the Second World War, a turning point in German foreign policy.
Energetic support War support of a red-green government
This brutal war with the active support of the then Red-Green government cost more than 15,000 lives, including more than 500 civilians. However, the supposedly “accidental” bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade, which cost the lives of three Chinese journalists, was deliberate, according to the British Observer.
NATO war not covered by UN mandate
This UN-mandated NATO-led US-led NATO war was a violation of the UN Charter. It was a breach of international law against Article 2 (4) of the UN Charter, which stated that “All members shall refrain from any threat or application in their international relations directed against the territorial integrity or political independence of a State or otherwise incompatible with the purposes of the United Nations of violence “. SPD and green politicians campaigned for a bombing without a mandate
Even then, the SPD War Minister Scharping hung far out the window, justifying the war with “averting a humanitarian catastrophe”. While Russia rightly protested and criticized the NATO dictates of strength and although this war was also highly controversial within the NATO states, it was just German politicians, especially a red-green federal government, which had once made peace movement and 68ers, who were now campaigning for a bombing without a mandate.
German assault past
All these references to the German aggressive war past were worth the red-green coalition nothing more. They tried to justify the attack by any means, even with reference to never-proven Serbian war plans, which today remind us very much of the forged “evidence” of the United States at the beginning of the Iraq war.
Collateral damage linked to the Holocaust
It was quite disgusting, however, when the civilian victims of NATO by Nato US spokesman Shea were called “collateral damage” and the indignation and the calls for ceasefire were so large that the green Foreign Minister Joseph Fischer was forced to see all the guns of his acting and with an unforgotten, more than outrageous comparison made a connection to the Holocaust and said: “I stand on two principles, never again war, never again Auschwitz, never again genocide, never again fascism. Both belong together with me. “
To instrumentalize Auschwitz, even to use it as a metaphor for the extermination of an ethnic group, was a tasteless taboo that remains unforgotten today and opened free-rider locks.
And that leads me to the SPD successor in the office of Foreign Minister, who went into politics because of Auschwitz and 20 years after the beginning of the international law-violent NATO war, this and the German participation is right.
As Maas said about dpa, he still believes that German participation has been “an outflow of responsible action. We have seen that there have been massive violations of human rights, “said Foreign Minister Maas, who was completely unimpressed by the breach of international law.
The hypocritical “Auschwitz Minister”

The supreme warlord and his belligerent people
For Netanyahu, who also holds the office of Minister of War, the security situation is the central issue in the election campaign. Only then can he present himself as the “highest general” in front of his belligerent people.So what fits in with the scheme more than “militant Islamist Hamas” missiles that always arrive at the right time, as ordered. So who else is talking about the report of the UN Human Rights Council, which accuses the “Jewish State” of committing crimes against humanity on the border with Gaza, with almost 200 murdered alone 20018 and several thousands injured, by the “Jewish Defense Army”.
The march of the return

Trump sealed the covenant with the “Chosen Zionists”
It is not Gaza-ruling Hamas guilty of the misery of this sealed-off concentration camp, but it is the Zionist occupation regime. As long as that is not finally recognized, there can never be a just solution that, as it seems, is no longer on the “Christian-Jewish” agenda for Palestine. Trump and his Golan Tweet, sealed after the Jerusalem Maneuver, the Covenant linking the “Chosen Zionists” to the Christian Zionist Evangelicals.Netanyahu and Trump have never been better off than they are now, because they are so similar in their “understanding of democracy and how to deal with the media”.
Furnished in war missions
Again and again, it is pointed out that the “positive” consequence after the Kosovo war was to give more weight to human rights and international law and that politicians can no longer hide behind sovereignty when they commit their atrocities. What a lie! Nothing has changed, even though we are being led to believe that today’s UN Security Council is under international legal obligation to protect the population from their regimes.So what does the sad reality look like, 20 years after the NATO-Kosovo war in violation of international law and 5 years after the Gaza genocide and the 71-year ethnic cleansing of Palestine? Things have gotten worse around the world and the hypocritical community of states has meanwhile established itself between war missions, the sale of weapons and the exploitation of resources.
There is a duty for humanitarian interventions, but certainly not as NATO spent it, as a “moral duty” with the help of bombs, to which the West feels committed.
The double standard when it comes to the “Jewish state”
Where is the moral, when it comes to the “Jewish state” and its illegal international occupier regime? Again and again one celebrates a double standard, which must finally be stopped. The Holocaust victims and their descendants do not have the right to take everything out just because the international community allowed the Holocaust and intervened far too late. A guilty conscience does not lead to good politics. Why must the Palestinians atone for the Holocaust and not be defended like the people of the Balkans? Because they are not important in the “Cold War” in the conflict between East and West?
The forgotten victims of Western politics
Why have neither AA Fischer nor AA Maas ever applied the moral standards they set forth in the Kosovo war? Again and again I come to Auschwitz, why did they abuse this term without necessity, but not for Palestine under the Israeli knout? Especially in Palestine this metaphor has its justification. But not for the former victims, but for today. Just think of the oppressed and occupied Palestinians / Gaza, who are increasingly becoming abused victims and oblivious in Western politics. Finally, more and more of what’s really going on is crystallized: about the Christian-Jewish cultural struggle, against Muslims and Islam.
A “God given miracle”
When US President Trump once again overruled all rules of international law and recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Syrian Golan they occupied, the Jewish Israelis cheered and spoke of a “God-given miracle.” Finally Trump, as a representative of God, would have recognized the solidarity of the “Jewish people” with this part of the country.
It was another campaigning gift to friend Netanyahu after the Jerusalem recognition and the US move of the embassy to the “eternally undivided capital” of the “Jewish state”.
Trump’s election gifts
Netanyahu, sinking deeper and deeper into his corruption mess with new accusations, can now bask in Trump’s electoral gifts, which also have an important domestic policy goal for Trump, namely to drive a wedge into the Democratic Party and to kill two birds with one stone. (1) The Trump’s Russian affair takes a back seat and Netanyahu is currently called only in connection with the Golan and Geza, all the best conditions for the 9th of April, the election day in the “Jewish state”. After a victory in the election, the little world of Bibi and Sara would be fine again and they can bask in their supposed glory if it were not for the many dirty linen that their subjects apparently like to literally sweep under their bed.
The phrase of the “peace process”
Thanks to Trump, Netanyahu seems to be getting closer and closer to his goal of not having to settle for the phrase “peace process” anymore, let alone making concessions on the settlement issue. However, he is compliant with a majority of his competitors in the election campaign, Blue and White, Shas Party, Yadahut Ha Torah, Kulanu, the New Right, Union of Right Parties, and Israel Beitenu, who outbid each other in their right-wing ideas.
Judaization and claim to Greater Israel
They all do not want settlement demolition and division of Jerusalem. What does that show us? The “peace” offered by these politicians only reveals their unwillingness to fight, pursuing only one goal: the Judaization and the claim to a Greater Israel, but without its aborigines. How long have Israeli politicians dreamed of the annexation of the West Bank and an euphemistically called “transfer” expulsion of the Palestinians living there into Arab states? After all, the US government has already deleted the term “occupied” for the West Bank and the Gaza Strip in an official report by the Foreign Ministry – contrary to international law. For the Palestinians, the worst fears come true, since they must fear that Trump will fulfill these Zionist wishes for power. What will Trump make possible in the future?Nothing is impossible with this dealer, who likes to create quick Twitter-hooks instead of having to negotiate long enough to overburden him and even keep him from playing golf.
No German “raison d’etat” for the “Jewish state”
So how long can the oh-so-moral community still look the other way and plead further in Palestine, ignoring the Israeli conquest and 1981 annexation of the Syrian Golan, which was never internationally recognized? Let’s see if the German Federal Government, which regards the Syrian Golan Heights as “occupied territories” entirely in accordance with UN Resolution 497, which was unanimously adopted by the UN in 1981, does not fall over under Maas and its master in white House and Tel Aviv not wrong. If they were serious about international law, they would certainly be obliged to suspend the German “reason of the state” for the “Jewish state”. In my opinion, a “state reason” for a state, who so boldly ignores international law and human rights, incompatible with the German Constitution. So how long do we still want to look the other way and be guilty when it comes to the Zionist occupation crimes in Palestine?

We are in a moment in which our actions deserve real scrutiny and a commitment to change. Support for Islamophobia—in any form—kills.
MANY JEWISH GROUPS in the US have reached out to Muslim groups after last week’s massacre of Muslim worshippers in Christchurch, New Zealand. Jewish communities have been showing support and solidarity in a number of meaningful ways, including participating in interfaith services and rallies, offering to stand outside mosques when needed, and raising funds for the families of those who were murdered. But as Jews, we need to dig deeper into what our institutions are doing to foment Islamophobia and anti-Muslim racism.
The hateful anti-Muslim rhetoric all around us can’t be separated from acts of physical violence. White nationalist rhetoric and actions have been encouraged and facilitated by the Trump Administration; the recent, relentless assault on Rep. Ilhan Omar has been riddled with Islamophobia and anti-Black racism. This Islamophobia long predates the current administration and has been encouraged and condoned well beyond the right. A recent article for ThinkProgress by Dr. Maha Hilal captures the hypocrisy of those in power: “While leaders across the globe might react negatively to the white nationalist language [the New Zealand killer] used, it’s hard to believe rhetoric that mourns the loss of Muslim lives after more than 17 years of the war on terror and the violence against Muslims in the form of detention, surveillance, torture, and murder.”
Anti-Muslim racism is pervasive. It is state-sanctioned and structural. It is deadly. It is on our streets, in our media, and in the encounters Muslims have at work, in schools, and in day-to-day life. So what can we do as Jews? We need to challenge our Jewish communities that are enabling—and sometimes fomenting—Islamophobia.
We know that Jewish organizations are funding some of the most virulent Islamophobic groups in the country. For example, progressive Jewish groups including Jews Against Anti-Muslim Racism (JAAMR), Jews SAY NO!, and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) recently released a report detailing how the Jewish Communal Fund (JCF) in New York is supporting some of the worst purveyors of anti-Muslim hate. These purveyors include, among others, the David Horowitz Freedom Center, whose namesake is described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as “the godfather of the anti-Muslim movement,” and the American Freedom Defense Initiative, whose public face is Pamela Geller, infamous for placing vitriolic anti-Muslim ads in public buses and subways. All of these JCF-funded groups are leaders in, or significant contributors to, what the Center for American Progress calls “the Islamophobia network in America.” The JCF has responded to the report and call to stop funding anti-Muslim hate with dead silence.
Chicago’s Jewish United Fund (JUF) has been doing much the same. JUF funneledhundreds of thousands of dollars to anti-Muslim hate groups between 2011 and 2014 through its donor-advised funds. JUF also accepted $5.1 million in 2013 from the Donors Capital Fund, a major contributor to the Islamophobia network. After sustained pressure and private meetings with Jewish activists and community leaders, JUF leadership said they would “discourage” its funds from selecting known hate groups for donations, yet their response makes clear they are continuing to shirk responsibility for how their funds are used.
And then there’s the Anti-Defamation League, which bills itself as committed to combating all forms of hate. While the ADL has certainly done some work to challenge Islamophobia, it has done a great deal of harm in promoting it. The organization has engaged in illegal spying, beginning in the 1950s, on Arab-Americans and progressive groups, which is perhaps why it never spoke up in all the years when the NYPD engaged in discriminatory surveillance of Muslim communities. Far from denouncing this blatant attack on the civil rights of Muslim citizens, the ADL gave an award to the commanding officer of the NYPD Intelligence Division that had been implementing the surveillance program. The ADL has a long history of labeling Muslim community groups as “terrorist sympathizers,” doing whatever it can to delegitimize them, and The ADL Foundation has also given grants to the Investigative Project on Terrorism, founded by Steve Emerson, known as a “leading light of the Islamophobia network.”
Jewish organizations have participated in furthering Islamophobia as part and parcel of their uncritical support for Israel. The anti-Muslim “clash of civilizations” concept—that “Western civilization” is locked in a never-ending battle with Islam as a result of fundamental cultural differences, rather than material factors such as the legacy of neocolonialism and imperialism—serves as a framework for US and Israeli government policies. Other hasbara (propaganda) campaigns disparage Muslims and Islam to justify Israeli policies that dehumanize Palestinians.
Many Jewish organizations have also supported the US “war on terror,” which, since 9/11, has targeted and demonized Muslim, Arab, and South Asian communities across the globe. This domestic and global “war on terror” is considered integral to cementing the US-Israel “special relationship” and ensuring US support for Israeli policies.
Jewish communities have serious work ahead of us. We can and must demand that our institutions stop funding Islamophobia. We can and must demand that our institutions oppose US policies that harm Muslim communities in the US and globally. We can and must take seriously Dr. Hilal’s words that “the global war on terror has become a blueprint for violence against Muslims.” We can and must demand that our communities oppose not only Islamophobic and anti-Palestinian violence, but also the policies that are so intertwined with them.
We are in a moment in which our actions deserve real scrutiny and a commitment to change. Support for Islamophobia—in any form—kills.

Opening the Washington Post today, we were aghast. Prominently displayed on page 8 was a full-page ad falsely accusing Representative Ilhan Omar of being anti-semitic. “The Jews control the world with their money” – words Rep. Omar NEVER said – were splattered next to her face, leaving readers to assume it was a quote.
The ad was produced and purchased by the notorious Rabbi Shmuley, a hate-monger whose agenda is well-known: to demand U.S. compliance with Israel’s status quo of occupation and apartheid. Why is the Washington Post allowing Shmuley to purchase such an outrageous ad inciting hatred against the first black, Muslim hijab-wearing member of Congress? Contact the Washington Post now. Tell them to apologize to Rep. Omar and promise not to print ads that propagate lies and hate. We will hand deliver your signatures to the Post.
As Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib wrote: “This is a false ad that only serves to incite violence toward a Black Muslim woman. It’s fear-mongering and we need to stand together and say this type of hate should not have a place in our newspapers or society.”
We know the results of inciting such hatred: We just saw the murder of 50 Muslims in New Zealand with the shooter crediting President Trump as an inspiration to white nationalists across the world.
The stakes are higher than ever right now. After years and years of Congress providing unquestioned support for Israel and kowtowing to the Israel lobby, we now have members of Congress openly supporting the boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement. And for the first time ever, nearly every Democratic presidential candidate is refusing to attend the AIPAC conference happening in Washington, D.C.
Skipping AIPAC used to be considered political suicide, but now it’s AIPAC that is toxic. No one looking to establish their progressive credentials wants to be associated with blind support for the apartheid state. That’s why Rabbi Shmuley is desperate to frame Rep. Ilhan Omar as an enemy of the Jewish people.
The Washington Post knows what Rep. Omar has and has not said; it knows that Rabbi Shmuley’s ad is misleading and repulsive. So why print it?

How much longer will we have to face coup attempts being planned and executed by US governments? What we are currently experiencing in Venezuela makes us painfully aware that no state is safe from Western “values”. Even Egypt, Syria, Iran, Ukraine and currently Venezuela and Gaza show us how perfidious this method is. The people must go hungry because of the sanctions, all the important things are getting scarcer, and one stirs up dissatisfaction on governments that have to “get away”.President Maduro bravely defends against this US method because he knows his people behind him. But why is a self-proclaimed coup puppet being supported by Germany and a foreign minister who “went into politics because of Auschwitz”? (1)
No new German guilt!
What are the interests behind it? Especially the German diplomacy under “Auschwitzminister” Maas operates nevertheless a policy, which could lead long-term to Auschwitz. Why do we have to be at the forefront in US towers in their more than transparent military actions and regime change coup attempts? What fascinates the German Foreign Minister on Venezuela, the Ukraine, Mali and the “Jewish state”? Does he really want to “make amends” with a destructive policy that does exactly the opposite, namely to accept new German guilt? Again and again, I can repeat the life motto of my father, Heinz Galinski, and heed it: “I did not survive Auschwitz to remain silent on new injustice”. If Germans like the Foreign Minister Maas or as his predecessor, If the green Josef Fischer used the word Auschwitz to justify war, then I find it so disgusting and shameful that I protect myself against it as a German. It is unacceptable for German citizens with Jewish roots like me when German politicians use the word Auschwitz to discriminate against Jews today and deny them freedom of expression when it comes to criticizing the “Jewish apartheid state” and its illegal occupation policy. Auschwitz was the German chapter of a “millennial brown empire,” which should under no circumstances be used to be abused. It is precisely Jewish citizens who should ponder this, and they should support the Muslims and Palestinians in their struggle for freedom and equality. Humiliation and robbery policies no longer accept!
The humiliating and robbery policy of the Judaisierung, which is accepted here inactive, is supported, we should no longer accept as citizens. Again and again, this is reminiscent of a crusade, when the “defense of Christian values” or worse, the “Christian-Jewish values” is spoken. What a Christian-Jewish arrogance that negates and – worse still – denies Muslims and their values.The audacity has repeatedly lumped terror and Islamism in order to justify the hypocritical value war policy.
Dive into the high culture of the Islamic world!
In fact, Islam looks to a high culture, which takes us from the acquired numbers, mathematics, philosophy to architecture so valuable testimony to this day. Even Goethe was fascinated by the Orient and its high culture, which was reflected in his “West-Eastern Divan”. It pays to read this book and be enchanted. Again and again, when I read the stories of 1001 Nights, I am delighted by this oriental world, in which it is worthwhile to immerse. I would also like to remind the Palestinian poet Mahmud Darwish, who unfortunately died much too early, as the poetic voice of his people! Finally, I would like to point out the freshly printed book by Jürgen Todenhöfer that I’m reading with great enthusiasm. Jürgen Todenhöfer is one of the few journalists who does not forget the suffering of the Palestinians and Gaza. He donated part of the fees of his book “Inside IS” for projects to Gaza. He is a generous person, with a heart for Gaza. In his new book titled “The Great Hypocrisy – How Politics and the Media Tell Our Values”, Propyläen-Verlag, he describes in Chapter 6 “Stunned in Gaza”, among other things, a more than revealing opinion in a long personal conversation with a Israeli ex-politicians and war heroes in Jerusalem: “Gaza does not interest Israel. Did the Jews earn concentration camps?
This was one of the many shocking factual accounts in this book that ruthlessly describes and exposes. Of course, after these shameful statements, the thought came to me: Did the Jews deserve concentration camps? What simple formulas for ethnic cleansing and expulsion. 20 Years of Lessons after Al-Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre – A Memorial History for the 30 Palestinian Martyrs
The story:
The dawn of Friday 15 Ramadan 1414 a.h. / 25 February 1994 marked the first of three massacres perpetrated by Israeli settlers accompanied by the Israeli Army. There were more than 30 martyrs and 270 injured. The main massacre took place while the victims were performing al- Fajr (Dawn) Prayer at Al Ibrahimi mosque.
At 05:00 on February 25, around eight hundred Palestinian Muslims passed through the east gate of Al-Ibrahimi mosque to participate in al-Fajr prayer, the first of the five daily Islamic prayers. At that time of the holy month of Ramadan, there were many people who flocked the Ibrahimi Mosque to perform their prayers. The mosque was under Israeli Army guard.
That same day, a Jewish American Zionist physician decided to materialize the dream of the typical Zionist movement of annihilating the Arab existence in Palestine. Dr. Baruch Goldstein prepared for the move. It was during Ramadan when Dr. Goldstein decided to execute his old plan of vengeance.
Goldstein passed two army checkpoints at the dawn of February 25, 1994 from the northeastern gate of the mosque near privy. That privy could be the reason why Goldstein decided on that gate because he, probably, received his contemplation about Arabs from the Rabbis of Kach in Kiryat Arab where the Arabs were described as the demons of the privy. The privy of the mosque is important not only because it has two Israeli army checkpoints on its nearby mosque’s gate, but also because it is surrounded by Israeli army posts from the east and army patrols in the west. So Goldstein was acting from the deepest parts of the Zionistic ideology in liquidating the demons.
Goldstein was carrying his IMI Galil assault rifle, four magazines of ammunition, which held 35 bullets each and hand grenades. He thought about the best moment to execute the plan, maximize the number of casualties and secure the escape or rescue. The best moment, of course, was when the Muslim worshipers knelt on the floor with their backs towards Goldstein.
It was first a hand grenade that he threw among the worshipers causing casualties, confusion, and possibly an invitation to the Israeli soldiers in the halls and outside of the mosque to intervene for rescue. And in no time, the automatic massacre took place with the same kind of mercy that other Zionists like Goldstein shows all the time toward Arabs.
Standing in front of the only exit from the mosque and positioned to the rear of the Muslim worshipers, he opened fire with the weapon, killing 29 people and injuring more than 125. He was eventually overwhelmed by survivors, who beat him to death.
An eyewitness said that when Goldstein was executing the massacre and people attacked him, there was a soldier who attempted to come closer to the scene. But instead of “rescuing” Dr. Goldstein, the Israeli soldier shot his bullets in the air and then escaped from the inside eastern door of the northern hall to the previously known “women praying area.” In the opinion of the eyewitness, the soldier could have rescued Goldstein by killing 5 or 10 more Palestinians, but it appeared that his personal safety was above any blood value.
Al Ibrahimi massacre (a.k.a Hebron massacre) is not the last one. Muslims and Jews are and will remain candidates for victimization. But the cause will always be the same: “The Nazi style laws of the Zionists occupation in Palestine.”
Reports after the massacre were inevitably highly confused. In particular, there was uncertainty about whether Goldstein had acted alone; it was reported that eyewitnesses had seen “another man, dressed as a soldier, handing him ammunition.” The Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat said that the attack was the work of up to 12 men, including Israeli troops. However, Israeli Army denied that and confirmed that Goldstein had acted alone without the assistance or connivance of the Israeli guards posted at the mosque.
News of the massacre immediately led to riots in Hebron (Al-Khalil in Arabic) and the rest of the occupied territories. Additional Palestinian Muslims were crushed to death in the panic to flee the mosque and in rioting that followed.
Now that was history, a bloody history that marked Feb 25 of every year with memorials of the Palestinian Martyrs massacred that day for nothing but being Palestinians. So, what are the lessons learned from this?
First we will look at the ideology behind this massacre (and all the Zionist massacres), then how it is treated among Zionists. And last but not least, how does the media look at Zionist (terrorists) and how do they handle such massacres compared to other terrorist acts and massacres.
Prof. Israel Shahak wrote – The Ideology Behind Hebron Massacre:
The sympathy which Baruch Goldstein enjoys among the Gush Emunim, whose influence is more pervasive than that of the Kahanists, can only be explained by a shared ideology. However, Gush Emunim leaders enjoy Rabin’s friendship and strong influence in wide circles of the Israeli and diaspora Jewish communities. Therefore it is their version of this ideology which is more important. Gush Emunim’s thinking assumes the imminence of the coming of the Messiah, when the Jews, aided by God, will triumph over the Gentiles. Consequently, all current political developments call be interpreted by those in the know as destined either to bring this end nearer or postpone it. Jewish sins, the worst of them being lack of faith in Gush Emunim ideology, can postpone but not alter the predestined course of Redemption. The two world wars, the Holocaust and other calamitous events of modern history serve as stock examples of such a curative punishment for Jewish sins. Such explanations can go into a lot of specific detail. The rabbi of Kiryat Arba, Dov Lior (who attended Goldstein’s funeral and praised him), blamed Israel’s relative failure in its 1982 invasion of Lebanon on the lack of faith manifested through signing a peace treaty with Egypt and “returning the inheritance of our ancestors [i.e Sinai] to strangers”.[…]
The fundamental tenet of Gush Emunim’s thinking is the assumption that the Jewish people are “peculiar”. Lustick discusses this tenet in terms of their denial of the classical Zionist claim that only by undergoing “a process of normalisation”, by emigrating to Palestine and forming a Jewish state there, can the Jews become like any other nation. But for them this “is the original delusion of the secular Zionists”, because they measured that “normality” by applying non-Jewish standards. According to Gush Emunim, “Jews are not and cannot be a normal people”, because “their eternal uniqueness” is “the result of the covenant God made with them at Mount Sinai”. Therefore, according to Rabbi Shlomo Aviner, one of their leaders, “while God requires other normal nations to abide by abstract codes of ‘justice and righteousness’, such laws do not apply to Jews”.
Harkabi quotes Rabbi Israel Ariel, who says that “a Jew who kills a non-Jew is exempt from human judgement, and has not violated the prohibition of murder”. The Gush Emunim rabbis have indeed reiterated that Jews who kill Arabs should be free from all punishment. Harkabi also quotes Rabbi Aviner, Rabbi Zvi Yehudah Kook and Rabbi Ariel, all three of whom say Arabs living in Palestine are thieves because since the land was once Jewish, all property to be found on that land “really” belongs to the Jews. In the original Hebrew version of his book Harkabi expresses his shock at finding this out. “I never imagined that Israelis would so interpret the concept of the historical right.”
Gush Emunim’s plans for governing non-Jews in Israel are also based on “theological” principles. According to Rabbi Aviner; “Is there a difference between punishing an Arab child and an Arab adult for disturbance of our peace? Punishments can be inflicted on Jewish boys below the age of 13 and Jewish girls below the age of 12…But this rule applies to Jews alone, not to Gentiles. Thus any Gentile, no matter how little, should be punished for any crime he commits.” From this dictum, it is only a short step to slaughtering Arab children.
Even Israel’s Supreme Court compared Kahane to the German Nazis. The prominent Orthodox dissident, Professor Yeshayahu Leibovitz, said that the mass murder in Hebron was a consequence of “Judeo-Nazism”. But Gush Emunim’s ideology is no less like that of the Nazis than Kahane’s.

Why do we hate them?
When you see the Israelis and Zionists from different parties and sections of the Israeli society, including their army, as well from around the world, gathering annually at the grave of Baruch Goldstein to celebrate the anniversary of his massacre of Muslim worshipers in Al-Khalil (Hebron), how can you but “LOVE” them?

Militant Jews have gathered at the grave of Baruch Goldstein to celebrate the sixth anniversary of his massacre of Muslim worshippers in Hebron.
The celebrants dressed up as the gunman, wearing army uniforms, doctor’s coats and fake beards.
Goldstein, an immigrant from New York City, had been a physician in the Jewish settlement of Kiryat Arba.
Waving semi-automatic weapons in the air, the celebrants danced, sang and read prayers around his grave.
“We decided to make a big party on the day he was murdered by Arabs,” said Baruch Marzel, one of about 40 celebrants.
The tribute was a macabre twist on the Jewish festival of Purim, when it is a custom to dress in costume and celebrate.
Massacre in mosque
In 1994 on Purim, Goldstein stormed a mosque and fired on praying Muslims in the West Bank city’s Tomb of the Patriarchs – a shrine sacred to both Muslims and Jews.
Twenty-nine people died in the attack, and the angry crowd lynched Goldstein in retaliation.
Israeli extremists continue to pay homage at his grave in the nearby Jewish settlement of Kiryat Arba, where a marble plaque reads: “To the holy Baruch Goldstein, who gave his life for the Jewish people, the Torah and the nation of Israel.”
About 10,000 people had visited the grave since the massacre, Mr Marzel said.

Not only that. The Israeli government allocated a special site for the grave, in the Tourist Park in Kiryat Arba settlement. Over the years, the grave has become a site of pilgrimage. Tens of thousand people from all over the world go to pray and honor this terrorist memory. The local religious council of Kiryat Arba settlement declared the grave site a cemetery. During the Feast of Purim, Goldstein friends celebrate the feast near his grave to honor him, in appreciation of what he did!

Contrast those reactions with the media’s response to the massacre in Hebron. No analyst suggested that the event reflected the emergence of a global “Jewish threat. ” No terrorism expert was invited to discuss on “Nightline” or the “MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour” the rise of a “global Zionist terrorism” organization manipulated, say, by the Israeli Mossad. No scholar alleged that the massacre by a Jewish settler suggested that Western and Jewish values were somehow incompatible.
If one really had wanted to apply the journalistic methods that were used in the case of the World Trade Center bombing, it would not have been so difficult, after reviewing the biography of Rabbi Meir Kahane by Robert I. Friedman, to point to the strong ties between Baruch Goldstein and the other “fanatics” in the Jewish settlements and members of the Israeli political establishment, especially in the Likud party. One could even have reminded American readers that Kiryat Arba, where Goldstein resided, was actually the brainchild of a pre-1977 Labor government.
Any analysis of public statements and writings by some of the major political and spiritual leaders of the Jewish settlers, including the rabbis who head the movement, would reveal a fanatical hatred and racist attitudes toward non-Jews in general, and Arabs and Palestinians in particular.
Instead, most journalists and analysts adopted the official Israeli line and described the massacre as an “isolated” case of Jewish “extremism,” an act of a “lone gunman,” a “lunatic,” a “madman” who does not represent Israeli society or, for that matter, Jewish settlers in the occupied territories. Journalists, like the Israeli government, stressed that killing of innocent civilians violates the moral tenets of Judaism.

A group of military eyewitnesses are now coming forward to speak in regards to the terrorist attack on their ship by Israeli forces during a time where Israel was already a key ally to the US and were the beneficiaries of military and monetary aid.
The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship, USS Liberty, by Israeli Air Force jet fighter aircraft and Israeli Navy motor torpedo boats, on 8 June 1967, during the Six-Day War. The combined air and sea attack killed 34 crew members (naval officers, seamen, two Marines, and one civilian), wounded 171 crew members, and severely damaged the ship.
Israel apologized for the attack, saying that the USS Liberty had been attacked in error after being mistaken for an Egyptian ship. Both the Israeli and U.S. governments conducted inquiries and issued reports that concluded the attack was a mistake due to Israeli confusion about the ship’s identity, though others, including the survivors of the attack shown in the video, have rejected these conclusions and maintain that the attack was deliberate.

And when the elections take place on April 9, King Bibi will use all means to continue his “corrupt monarchy.” After all, he thinks he can form his own laws and override existing ones. (1) If all allegations of corruption finally lead to an indictment, that will not prevent him from remaining Prime Minister. He has repeatedly rejected the idea of resigning and rather blasphemes against “upset left” media. He also defames an opposition that “pacts with Arabs” and thereby endangers the security of the “Jewish state”. He who pacted with entrepreneurs, media czars and gambling kings to gain advantages such as jubilation articles in far-right newspapers and Internet portals. The “royal couple” Bibi and Sara received luxury gifts, for which he was grateful to the generous donors and showed political relief. Everything was done with care, by suitcase-wise dirty laundry traveling, with a kind of recklessness that leaves one stunned.
Israel: the country where racism flourishes
The worst part is that neither his Likud party nor right-wing coalition partners turned away from him, but continue to support him. Just like “his” people, who continue to stand behind him and believe everything that comes out of his mouth. The silence on the crimes of the Zionist regime to be ended!

So the Jewish occupiers imagine “religious freedom,” and the community of states, which often lists the much-vaunted “values” in their mouths, is silent. King Abdullah, according to the 1994 peace agreement with Israel, has the legitimacy of exercising guardianship of the Muslim and Christian sites in Jerusalem. It should be our aspiration to support Jewish citizens and activists who peacefully campaign for BDS (boycott, disinvestment, sanctions). Let us not leave it up to a Central Council, an anti-Semitism commissioner appointed by the Federal Government, as well as politicians across all parties, various Jewish and Zionist organizations and the whole of the Israel lobby, the sovereignty that is not afraid to demonize Jews as anti-Semites. Let us continue fighting against the Israeliization of Germany for freedom of opinion and for the freedom of Palestine in these times of the fascist election campaign of Judaization.

This is seen as the latest evidence of Israel’s attempts to silence anyone who criticises its army or politicians.
An Israeli journalist who called Israeli army soldiers “animals” for beating a Palestinian father and son in custody is to face trial.
Oshrat Kotler, a journalist with Israel’s Channel 13, is to face trial on charges of incitement, incrimination of suspects, failure to grant a right of reply and more after she called several soldiers accused of beating two Palestinians in custody “human animals”, the Jerusalem Post reported.
Speaking on the channel’s news programme in February, Kotler said:
When you send your children to the [Israeli] army, they are kids. You send them to the [occupied Palestinian] territories, and they come back as human animals. This is the result of the occupation.
Her comments allegedly prompted complaints from thousands of viewers, as well as complaints to Israel’s Press Council, an independent body established to safeguard press freedoms and outline journalism ethics. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also responded to Kotler’s comments, saying her words “deserve every condemnation” and that he is “proud of the [Israeli army] soldiers and loves them very much.”
She now faces trial and will appear at a court hearing, though it is unclear when she will be summoned.
The Israeli soldiers to whom Kotler referred were last week convicted of aggravated assault and aggravated battery for beating a 50-year-old Palestinian and his 15-year-old son who were detained in custody. The soldiers were suspected of beating the father and son as revenge for a December attack on members of their battalion, since both sets of soldiers belong to the same unit – the ultra-Orthodox Netzah Yehuda Battalion of the Kfir Brigade, which is stationed in northern West Bank city of Jenin.
Details of the brutal beating emerged during February’s court proceedings, with the 15-year-old boy telling the court: “I was lying on my back, with hands cuffed behind my back and a blindfold over my eyes. I was kicked by four soldiers – who used their hands, feet and the barrels of their M16 rifles – in the face, chest, abdomen, legs, and testicles […] I couldn’t open my left eye and my mouth was filled with blood.”
Despite the severity of the crimes and the Netzah Yehuda battalion’s history of anti-Palestinian violence, the soldiers reached a plea bargain and will serve only 190 days in prison. They were sentenced yesterday by an Israeli military court.
The bid to take Kotler to court will be seen as the latest evidence of Israel’s attempts to silence anyone who criticises its army or politicians. Journalists in particular have come under attack, with Netanyahu slamming the “left-wing media” for conspiring against him and the country’s interests ahead of the upcoming election on 9 April.
Netanyahu drew criticism in January when a billboard appeared outside Tel Aviv showing a number of prominent journalists who have been critical of his premiership with the words “they will not decide”. The four journalists had been closely covering the corruption scandal in which Netanyahu has long been embroiled, and it was thought his Likud party was behind the campaign to discredit them. Netanyahu’s rivals lambasted the move, with head of the Yesh Atid party and Blue and White (Kahol Lavan) co-leader Yair Lapid labelling the move incitement.
Netanyahu has also tried to side-step the mainstream media by creating his own TV channel, dubbed Likud TV. Launching the channel on his official Facebook page with the slogan “we’re throwing the ‘fake’ out of the news,” Netanyahu said that “whoever the media praises is bad for Likud and usually whoever it crucifies is good for Likud”.
Commentators were quick to point out the similarity between Netanyahu’s campaign and that of US President Donald Trump, noting that Likud TV “seems to follow the model of [Trump’s] Real News Update” ahead of the US elections due to be held in 2020. Trump has championed the “fake news” narrative, labelling journalists the “enemy of the people” and taking aim at some of America’s biggest news outlets.

The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a resolution Thursday condemning anti-Semitism, anti-Muslim discrimination, white supremacy and other forms of hate, following a week of debate among congressional Democrats. The controversy began after some lawmakers accused Democratic Congressmember Ilhan Omar of invoking anti-Semitic tropes while questioning U.S. foreign policy on Israel. The House leadership initially drafted a resolution condemning anti-Semitism in what was seen as a direct rebuke of Omar. But many progressive Democrats said Omar, one of the first two Muslim Congresswoman in U.S. history, was unfairly being singled out. The split within the Democratic Party forced the leadership to withdraw its initial resolution and then present a much broader one. Congressmember Ilhan Omar voted for and praised the new resolution in a joint statement with fellow Muslim lawmakers Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and André Carson of Indiana. A decision by Israel’s electoral committee to ban two Arab parties and a candidate from a third Arab-led slate from running in elections, while allowing a far-right-wing candidate despite recommendations from the attorney general to ban him, was sharply criticized Thursday by leaders of Israel’s Arab community.
The ruling was called unreasonable and racist, and it sparked fears among Israeli Arabs that the country’s 1.8 million Arab citizens could be further politically marginalized ahead of April 9 parliamentary elections.
The decision to ban the parties, which are running on a united ticket, and candidate, Ofer Cassif, followed petitions submitted by three right-wing factions, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling Likud party.
