That is GREAT news and a WELL deserved award going to Layla. She always speaks so clearly and poignently and gives the clear-headed HUMAN side to this issue. I’ve also heard her speak recently on KPFK here in LA (our one TRULY independent radio station which can be heard live streaming) When Layla writes, she “captures” the essence of the situation, and brings the reader into FOCUS with her skill as a writer. And when you read Layla’s blog, you get LAYLA, someone who is living in this horrendous situation just like EVERY OTHER PALESTINIAN in the OT. Robin… it seems that every time I drop a name you got one up on me… you either met them or heard them speak…
Seems that it is easier for a Palestinian to speak in the States than in Israel… I wonder why that is.
What are Israelis afraid of? The truth???
