THE FORGOTTEN HOLOCAUST REMEMBERED

hiroshima

Anniversary of Hiroshima
The United States dropped the first atomic bomb used in warfare on Hiroshima, Japan.

An estimated 140,000 died from the immediate effects of this bomb and tens of thousands more died in subsequent years from burns and other injuries, and radiation-related illnesses. Pres. Harry Truman ordered the use of the weapon in hopes of avoiding an invasion of Japan to end the war, and the presumed casualties likely to be suffered by invading American troops. The weapon, “Little Boy,” was delivered by a B-29 Superfortress nicknamed the Enola Gay, based on the island of Tinian, and piloted by Col. Paul W. Tibbets.

On August 6, 1995 up to 50,000 people attended a memorial service commemorating Hiroshima Peace Day on the 50th anniversary of the first atomic bombing.

The Day the Sun Rose Twice

As if that wasn’t enough…..

On August 9, 1945

The second atomic bomb, “Fatman,” was dropped on the arms-manufacturing and key port city of Nagasaki. The plan to drop a second bomb was to test a different design rather than one of military necessity. The Hiroshima weapon was a gun type, the Nagasaki weapon an implosion type, and the War Department wanted to know which was the more effective design.
Responsibility for the timing of the second bombing had been delegated by Pres. Harry Truman before the Hiroshima attack to Col. Paul W. Tibbets, the commander of the 509th Composite Group on Tinian, one of the Northern Mariana Islands in the western Pacific. Scheduled for August 11 against Kokura, the raid was moved forward to avoid a five-day period of bad weather forecast to begin on August 10. English translation of leaflet air-dropped over Japan after the first bomb [excerpt]: “We are in possession of the most destructive explosive ever devised by man. A single one of our newly developed atomic bombs is actually the equivalent in explosive power to what 2000 of our giant B-29s can carry on a single mission. This awful fact is one for you to ponder and we solemnly assure you it is grimly accurate.”
Of the 195,00 population of the city (many of its children had been evacuated due to bombing in the days just prior), 39,000 died and 25,000 were injured, and 40% of all residences were damaged or destroyed.
“What on earth has happened?” said my mother, holding her baby tightly in her arms. “Is it the end of the world?”Sachiko Yamaguchi (nine years old at the time of the bombing).

This is not the only holocaust. Many peoples around the world have been systematically slaughtered at the bequest or directly by the Axis of Satan, the USA, UK and Israel.

Not to forget crimes on both sides but, Japan had been trying to surrender for some time before the bomb(s) were dropped. We wanted to flex our muscles to the rest of the world. Sadly, there are no honest governments, Never has been. The Lord is the only one that can help us now.

The atom bombs were dropped despite the efforts of the the Japenese to
end the war through diplomatic channels for several preceding months. They
were as much a warning to the Soviet Union that the U.S. is nuts enough to
use terror weapons as any attempt to quickly end the second world war.

They in no way even needed to drop the atom bombs. Japan was already willing to surrender, but the warmongers in Washington wanted to test their new super weapon, and what better way than to exterminate several hundred thousand innocent civilians! These true criminals have never been brought to justice for their murderous ways, and the world has not been the same since.

The Japanese people must still be in trauma from the Hiroshima/Nagasaki holocaust as they slavishly support the USA, the nuking power.

Possibly the real reason they dropped the bombs was testing its effect on humans. Radiation has later been tested on US citizens and probably by the other side on their own people, after all.
And no matter if Japan were to surrender or not, a first bomb dropped over a less populated area as a warning would have ended the war in 2 days.

…those were not Jews, therefore they don’t count. Also the millions of Russian or Eastern countries victims have never been counted or though of.

It makes me sick to read comments of Americans who think it is alright to use drones on indigenous people in Afghanistan/Pakistan.

I hate to tell you this but neither Hiroshima or Nagasaki had any tactical or strategic value. The only reason those two bombs were dropped were to:
    1. Test the effects on humans.
    2. Show the world that we had these horrendous weapons and,
    3. We weren’t afraid to use them.
The Japanese were indicating that they were ready to surrender any conditions as far back as May, 1945. This was just a horrific piece of terrorism by the US!

Just a point – prior surrender discussions were for ‘conditional’ surrender. The U.S. was only interested in ‘unconditional’ surrender, the same that the Nazis had agreed to in Europe. I’m not saying this to justify the bombings of Hiroshima or Nagasaki, just to add some context. The idea of surrender is not what it appears without including the word ‘conditional’ and understanding what it implied in the Pacific theatre. It would have left Japan with many of the territories that they had taken by force, something the allied powers found unacceptable (and it wasn’t just the Americans – the Australians, Canadians, British, and others were involved in the Pacific conflict as well, so, consider).

while i feel sorry for those innocent people who were killed by the atomic bombs, i thought that the victims of nanjing massacre died an even more tragic death. can the japanese ever justify the deaths of 300000 innocent Chinese people at the hands of japanese soldiers who went around on a killing spree? Please think about it!
