A brilliant skit from the Israeli comedy show “Eretz Nehederet” (lit: “Wonderful Country) on Channel 2. This skit depicts a joint education program devised by the right-wing (yet mainstream) organization Im Tirtzu with the Ministry of Education that helps kindergarten children be prepared for the complicated life in Israel.

MY main reaction, criticize me for it if you will, my main reaction was to feel outrage at the way those poor children are being brainwashed.
I understand that this is not entirely real, no more than Onion New Network broadcasts real news; both are comedy which derives humour from exaggerating how bad things are.
But this is based on reality. Eh, no point in illustrating how much better it could be. I imagine most of you understand that far better than I do.
Oh, and did you notice they didn’t have a slander for the USA? So what’s their excuse for treating *us* like Delta Sierra?

Very sad, very sad indeed. The world is responsible for allowing Israel to act and think that they are the chosen one! Aren’t you all insulted when they call us gentile? I am, that’s for sure. Boycott USA’s products! Stop wasting your money at MC Donald, Starbucks, Loreal, Timberland, Coca Cola. Just to name a few!

I found the video at YouTube, and sent the link to a Jewish friend of mine in Florida, with no comment, to see what she thought. She’s one of those unthinking supporters of Israel that we especially need to educate and awaken.
She didn’t recognize it as sarcasm. Her response was to gush about how wonderful it is that kids in Israel are so smart and “know so much about history”.
Enough to make you bury your face in your hands and weep, isn’t it?
