South Africa, the official birthplace of Apartheid was the scene of a massive anti apartheid rally. ISRAELI APARTHEID!
The keynote speaker was our very own exiled member of the Israeli Knesset, Azmi Bishara. Similar rallies were held in major cities throughout the world, including New York where this photo was taken… a photo of Bishara addressing the audience by video.

The following is a brief report on the meeting held in Soweto….

Fourth Annual International Israeli Apartheid Week is launched

ImageStop the Wall and International – Israeli Apartheid Week 2008 was officially launched on Sunday, 3 February in Soweto, South Africa. Exiled Palestinian member of the Israeli Knesset, Azmi Bishara, addressed his lecture on the 60th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were displaced from their land to become what remains one of the world’s largest refugee populations. Bishara spoke under the banner ‘Silenced in Apartheid Israel – Welcomed in Soweto’ alongside prominent South Africans such as Eddie Maque, General Secretary of the South African Council of Churches.

“Apartied” is much too kind in describing the criminal behaviour of this fascist junta! There is a holocaust occurring in Palestine; courtesy of Nazi Israel. People are dying of starvation, disease and cold blooded murder at the hands of the Nazi Storm Troopers. This must stop. “NEVER AGAIN”!

i lived in south africa under apartheid.
i am offended when zionism is compared to apartheid.
the south african government was racist and paternalistic, and there were doubtless some cruel and evil people who took shelter under it. i remember one police sergeant notorious for killing 11 people, all black, over the course of years. i remember the sharpeville massacre, where about 300 people were killed.
nothing the south africans did ever came close to the depraved violence, the malice, the thievery, the murder and genocide practised by every citizen of the malign entity called israel, supported by virtually every jew in the world, and encouraged and largely funded by britain, the usa, germany and france.
