MKs call for Gaza invasion in wake of escalation
“The Israel Defense Forces must reoccupy part of the Gaza Strip for an unlimited time and overthrow the Hamas government, the chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee said Friday, in the wake of escalating rocket attacks that peaked Thursday with a direct hit on a home in Ashkelon.
“The State of Israel must make a strategic decision to order the IDF to prepare quickly to topple the Hamas terror regime and take over all the areas from which rockets are fired on Israel,” MK Tzachi Hanegbi (Kadima) told Israel Radio. He said the IDF should prepare to remain in those areas for years……

All that would be required to stop the bloodshed in Gaza and the West Bank would be for the U.S. president to threaten to revoke Israel’s tax-free donation status; Israel is the only nation to which American citizens can donate money tax free. Eisenhower threatened to do this during the ‘pre-emptive’ Israeli attack on the Suez in 1956 and the Israelis went home shortly thereafter.

times have changed since the 50’s. it may have worked then and also when elder bush threatened to cut off el salvador’s aid way back when…only after 6 jesuit priests were killed. But there has been enough bloodshed already in the middle east that a little more means nothing to them currently. You see how they bulldoze their way around people? The U.S. for sure wont revoke aid for Israel the church has a complete stranglehold right now on the government as it seems, the ultra right social conservative agenda is being revived. Think Reagan.

It is high time everybody in the world placed a massive boycott on ALL Israel trade and products, namely everything that is listed on the WRH website.
There are so many major brand products in the world being bought out by Israel, it’s not funny anymore.

Did anyone know that it’s actually the military in charge of Israel with the politicians normally tagging along for show. Why else was it after the Labanon fiasco last year so many generals were calling for Olmert’s head.
Did anyone know that the israeli defence budget only ever appears as one line, one grand amount, with no breakdown or accounting for where that vast sum (billions of $) goes. Oh by the way, the money usually comes from the American taxpayer anyway. You gotta love ’em, y’all.

If what the Israelis are doing is, in their words, a “Shoah”, then the Holocaust ™ must either be an order of magnitude less than is claimed or the Israeli attack against the Palestinians is an order of magnitude worse, or both. You can’t have “Shoah” simultaneously mean both “the worst atrocity ever committed” and “righteous self-defense”, unless of course you are a racist who thinks some peoples’ lives and well-being are worth more than others.
Don’t forget that the World Jewish Congress declared war on Germany twice, once in 1933 and again in 1939. Further, the WJC called on all Jews to be combatants in their war, thereby making them valid military targets. Perhaps what the Germans are claimed to have done was just “righteous self-defense” against enemy Fifth Columnists and Terrorists.
