GEORGE GALLOWAY: THE NOBLE MAN

By Khalid Amayreh

Unlike many politicians who would rather stay on the safe side, even if that means betraying their conscience, George Galloway represents a rare breed of morally-guided politicians who are willing to call the spade a spade even in the face of danger and brutality.

The British lawmaker has displayed immense courage in speaking up against crimes and injustices inflicted by Israel, the United States and their European allies in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Palestine.

In 2003, Galloway was expelled from the Labor Party when a party body decided that the strong statements he had made in opposition to the invasion of Iraq by the US and its allies had brought the party into disrepute.

Unshaken and defiant, Galloway then co-founded the Respect party, a new leftist-leaning coalition with a number of small groups.

Galloway had castigated the horrible genocide of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians who died as a result of the draconian sanctions imposed on that Arab country and enforced by the United States.

In 2006, when the West and several Arab regimes were utterly silent, or colluding with Israel, Galloway spoke up loudly and eloquently against the barbaric Israeli aggression against Lebanon which utterly destroyed civilian homes and infrastructure, especially in southern Beirut, and killed hundreds of innocent civilians all over Lebanon.

In so doing, he exposed the nefarious war crimes and crimes against humanity perpetrated by Israel, including the dropping by the Israeli air force of millions of cluster bomblets all over southern Lebanon for the express purpose of killing and maiming Lebanese peasants, farmers, shepherds and children for many many years to come.

Now, the brave gentleman has arrived in the huge besieged concentration camp known as the Gaza Strip, leading an aid convoy of food and medicine for the thoroughly tormented people of Gaza.

Interestingly, his auspicious arrival coincided with the occurrence of the annual anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) who said “one of the greatest forms of Jihad, is to utter a word of truth in the presence of tyrant.”

“I am here to meet the heroes of Palestine’s resistance, the government of Palestine, the people of Palestine,” Galloway told reporters as thousands of jubilant Palestinians turned up to greet the man and his companions.

“I have entered Palestine many times but the most emotional of these is after the 22-day genocidal aggression against the Palestinian people,” said Galloway, who kneeled down to kiss Gaza ground.

“We are all Palestinians”

Unafraid of upsetting Israel, its criminal-minded allies, quislings and hangers-on, Galloway said what most politicians in the capitals of Europe and North America, not even in the Arab-Muslim Middle East, wouldn’t dare say, namely that Hamas is the legitimate Palestinian government and that the Palestinian people’s will ought to be respected.

Galloway denounced former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, a staunch supporter of the Hamas-isolation policy.

“He doesn’t represent the British people,” said Galloway.

Blair, like most other western politicians and officials, remained utterly silent as Nazi Israel was raining white phosphorus bombs on Gaza recently, killing, maiming and incinerating thousands of innocent civilians, including hundreds of children, whose only “crime” was their enduring vigor and determination to live and be free.

However, instead of getting disgracefully consigned to the dustbin of history, as, indeed, he should have been, Blair was appointed by the crime-boss of the White House, the unmissed George Bush, as Peace Envoy to the Middle East.

Bush and Blair will always be remembered as despicable war criminals who shamelessly indulged in every type of dishonest behavior to justify or cover up their criminal conduct.

In truth, they shouldn’t be free men, their natural place should be behind bars.

We salute you

Well, Mr. Galloway, on behalf of the Palestinian people and all free-minded men and women around the world, I salute you for being a voice for the voiceless and for speaking up loudly, eloquently and defiantly for truth and justice.

George: It is for upholding these sublime values that great men are created.

I salute you for challenging the forces of hypocrisy and moral duplicity back in Britain who instead of calling Israel, a criminal state ruled by an evil clique of war criminals, by its real name, hasten to blame the helpless victims for surviving the recent genocide in Gaza and for clinging to life, dignity and freedom.

I also salute you for being “non-conformist,” because in a world overwhelmed by hypocrisy, immorality, human depravity, unethical expediency, and repulsive political correctness, it takes a true non-conformist to uphold true human values.

And, above all, I salute you for exposing and putting to shame the treacherous Arab leaders who played their fiddle while Gaza was burning.

Sir, May God bless you.

And right there on public Amerikan television sat the magnificent Mr. George Galloway addressing a Senatorial star chamber. Norm Coleman being the sole senatorial rep seated in chamber. Mr. Galloway proceeded to plant the most amazing smackdown on Sen. Piss-ant, it’s ever been my privilege to witness. Mr. Galloway pointed out to Coleman that he was a “lickspittle” as I remember. I admit to memory being possible for playing tricks however, that recalls about right.
God bless you Mr. Galloway and keep you safe and from harm. We are all better off for you courage.
    most respectfully yours,

George was brilliant today in Gaza, in typical Galloway fashion I must say. His speech today was one of his best. I managed to write it all up from a recording, if interested I posted it here:

I loved it when he challenged the EU and England to take him to court LOL right after he opened a plastic bag and started handing wads of cash to Ismail Haniya LOL it was brilliant I must say.

I salute you too George Galloway and also salute the convoy of drivers who took aid to Palestine showing much needed love and comradeship. Most of all I salute the beautiful people of Palestine, the brave of the brave, the true heroes of our time.

A man who is true and true to himself always rings the bell. These men are few and far between . George Galloway is a Scot who deigned to serve in British Parliament and did his best to keep the likes of Bush and Blair legitimate. He, like Imran Khan , knows how to be his own self. Well done Viva Palestina…..

    we need more convoys

one every week leaving from all parts of the planet.

George Galloway is a rare man of conscience.

The media in the UK did nothing to help the convoy.

Sadly We are being governed by Nazionist psychopaths.

I have seen the many attempts to marginalize George Galloway (such as dismissing him because he appeared on some UK reality show and did some embarrassing stunts) but all things considered, he’s a really decent gentleman. I particularly enjoyed his schooling of the US Congress on the Iraqi War deaths because our government prefers to keep its head in the sand. I’m glad George is still pushing for justice.

Hamas is the real elected government of palestine. No amount of Zionism has ever changed that and they should rightfully free their people out of this and build a true society.

Abolish the Federal Reserve and end this sickening experiment.

George is a singular hero in a nation of cowards. All ye who bow down to Israel stay down. Elohim/Yawveh/Jesus/Muhammed will deal with you later. God help the Children of Palestine.

You know, you have to wonder what the obsequious quislings and assorted war criminals – the Bushes, Cheneys, Blairs, Browns, Clintons, Harpers, etc. –
what they think of when they hear about George Galloway’s bravery and humanity. Do they feel shame when they stare at themselves in the mirror? If
they don’t, they better see a head doctor a.s.a.p.

Thank you for paying deserved tribute to this courageous man who speaks truth to power – one of an unfortunately tiny group of patriots (e.g. Dr. Ron Paul) who stand on conviction and speak from their minds and hearts.

I wish we had more politicians like him in Europe (and elsewhere) an that they would recieve thepopular support they deserve. Sadly the system is heavily biased against dissidents of any sort.

Like a convoy of pilgrims who arrived on the MOULED DAY to GAZA – a notion so evocative in the collective memory of Muslims- Galloway and his followers “suited the action to the word”. A first in benevolence! But this is more than sympathy. In so doing, Galloway had belittled his own countryman Tony Blair, who bore no interest to Palestinians and who actually had a hand in marginalizing Hamas. The convoy crossed borders and endured difficulties to finally set foot on GAZA soil still mixed with the innocent victims’ blood. Kneeling to kiss the land of GAZA, Galloway embraced the souls of all the GAZANS–those living and those who passed away- in a loving and compassionate way. Who of the Arab leaders dared to leave his fortified bastion to go and see valour and heroism in women’s and children’s eyes in Gaza? That might annoy the Patrons in USA and Europe, they will tell you. But this is another slap on the treacherous Arab leaders’ faces after the ones they received from Latin America. An old Arabic saying is worth citing here “you might have a brother your mother has never begotten”

A politician is no more trustworthy than a priest or a rabbi, a lama. They are part of a gang of power seekers and will do anything to get followers.

I have been weeping tears of such joy!

Amazingly, or not, this caravan has received almost NO press in Europe or in North America. If you did not look for it in special news places, it just was a non event to the world.

But we who love Palestine, and have been fans of George for years, er, admirers and supporters, rejoice. For me, I have been learning and writing about Palestine for months now and almost constantly weeping, or being angered, a major ride for me. The brave and gentle people of Palestine ~ they so needed to know the world loves them! They so needed to know that we understand and try to do what we can.

That one man could accomplish so much, pull together so many diverse peoples to unite and perform this wonderful action is a most valuable lesson, and gift to us all. One man with a vision is all it took.

Thank you George. You brought spirit to the people of Palestine, but you also reminded us there are GOOD people in the world willing to do GOOD deeds at their own expense. This whole affair has nourished the souls of many of us…. a valuable moment of light and love shining through the murk and gloom of squalor and hatred.

Thank you all. Well done! I truly can say, I love you all.

I am so glad that some one is praising George Galloway and others who have done such a wonderful job with out praise this is what being human is and to stand up and be counted but he has always been like this a human being of the highest order unlike the rubbish that say they rule us. The people who came with him are just people nothing special other than being human and helping others I can not say more about them but wished I could be with them will he get a Sir for it or an invite with his fellow travellers to Buck House not a chance how about a Lordship after all Brown, Blair and Mandleson will get one, it shows you what seeks to control us well George and company show us that goodness wins hands down. I do not want the Jews and Arabs to fight each other because that is what these people want well if George can stand up to them so can we.

Had George Galloway spoken out that the terror bombing of the London Tube on 7 July 05 was clearly an inside job, he wouldn’t have needed to get himself to Gaza now as Israeli intelligence would have been one of the subjects of intense focus with the result that there would have been no assault on either Lebanon the following year nor on Gaza just recently.

Had he spoken of the impossibility of the official version of what happened to Dr David Kelly in July 03, then the tube terror bombing would not have happened two years on as the local combined intelligence services would have realised that they were under enough scrutiny at that time.

Ive been a fan of Galloway for a long time. He has spoken up for Palestinians since the mid 70s and has therefore expended a huge amount of political capital. He forfeited the chance of being a top British politician because his conscience wouldnt allow him to stay silent.
In Britain today you wouldnt Know about this story if you hadnt been following it on the net, it is not mentioned in mainstream media at all.
I loved the part about him handing money to the Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and then daring British authorities to charge him with funding terrorism, that would be the trial of the century. Unfortunately it wont happen because the powers that be are terrified of opening up a debate on this issue because they know it will expose their support for the racist genocidal fascists in Israel and they dont want the average Brit to know what they do in our names
    Viva George Galloway
    Viva Palestina

Hello I thought you all would appreciate hearing this about Madagascar…
    http://whatreallyhappened.com/content/madagascar-troops-defy-orders-put-down-opposition-protests

Soldiers refuse to fire on government protesters.

If the worst of the worst happens here and we have soldiers in the streets, most of them will openly refuse to fire on US civilians when Zionists give the order.

And if they fire on me for instance I will tase them blind, I doubt as many troops will turn against the people as originally predicted. This war may be over must faster then!!!

The Military will not be used by the Zionists to destroy or disarm the United States as indicated under the constitution. Those who obey their oath will awaken to their senses, then that means the Government the Federal Reserve is permanently finished since their army wears thin.
