ISRAEL: LAWSUITS AND BURIAL SHROUDS

‘But Israel is now more concerned about its own image rather than the type or crimes committed’.

WHAT IMAGE??? The image of a bully beating up and killing innocent civilians and then lying about it? Where is the concern for the almost 500 children that were brutally slaughtered in Gaza earlier this year? What about the image of Israel bullying the entire Western world to accept and support their ongoing atrocities against the Palestinian people? (Thanks ‘Irish’ for the following image)

Lordy, Lordy, Lordy…… What to do about Israel’s image? How can poor little Israel, the ‘only Democracy in the Middle East’ continue to look like the poor victim and receive the billion$ of dollars it gets in ‘aid’ to continue carrying out its policies? So much of that money might have to go into Legal Fees at this point…. WHAT TO DO?????

Well… they can start by acting like human beings and treating others as such… that would be a start.

Israel fears UN Gaza report could lead to legal lawsuits

Israeli Ynet News reported that legal experts in Israel fear that the UN report on the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip could lead to private lawsuits against military personnel.

The legal experts said that the findings of the reports might not have any immediate legal impacts as far as using them against Israel at the International Court of Justice, but will likely be used in filing private lawsuits against Israeli officials.

The report was released on Tuesday by Richard Goldstone, who headed the investigation committee, and it held both Israel and the Hamas movement for war crimes.

It stated that Israel carried actions that mounts to war crimes and could even constitute crimes against humanity. Hamas was accused of committing war crimes by firing shells into southern Israel.

International Law expert, Dr. Robbie Sabel, told the Ynet News the Israel and the Palestinians are not part of the International Crimes Court (ICC) therefore Israeli military officials can be held liable for war crimes.

Sabel added that the International Crimes Court is the only side with the legal authority to determine the whether war crimes were committed or not, and added that until Israel becomes an official member of the ICC, or the Palestinian Authority becomes a state and joins the court, the chances of facing charges remain very unlikely.

But Israel is now more concerned about its own image rather than the type or crimes committed.

Sabel said that the report could enable private lawsuits against Israel in countries that allows individuals for file lawsuits against other countries.
