CANADA MUST CONDEMN ISRAELI WAR CRIMES

Canada loses out on Security Council seat due to Harper’s support of Israeli terrorism

Canada ‘bruised’ for pro-Israel stand?

In speech against anti-Semitism, Canadian PM Harper suggests his country did not secure seat at UN Security Council due to its failure to ‘go along with this anti-Israel rhetoric’

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Monday delivered a pro-Israel speech at a parliamentary conference which dealt with ways to fight anti-Semitism. Harper implied that his country did not secure a seat at the United Nations Security Council due to its failure to cooperate with an anti-Israel policy.

The Canadian prime minister stressed that while there is room for fair criticism against the Israeli government, Canada is obligated to come to the Jewish state’s defense when it is attacked by others.

“And like any free country Israel subjects itself to such criticism, healthy, necessary, democratic debate,” he said. “But when Israel, the only country in the world whose very existence is under attack, is consistently and conspicuously singled out for condemnation, I believe we are morally obligated to take a stand.”

Harper said Canada must oppose demonization, double standards and de-legitimization.

“Not just because it is the right thing to do, but because history shows us, and the ideology of the anti-Israel mob tell us all too well, that those who threaten the existence of the Jewish people are in the longer term a threat to all of us,” he said.

“Whether it is at the United Nations or any other international forum, the easiest thing to do is simply to just get along and go along with this anti-Israel rhetoric, to pretend it is just about being even-handed, and to excuse oneself with the label of honest broker,” Harper added.

The Canadian prime minister suggested that this was the reason his country lost the recent vote for a temporary Security Council seat, saying “I have the bruises to show for it.”

Harper stated in his speech that “as long as I am prime minister… Canada will take that stand, whatever the cost.”

In his speech, the Canadian prime minister warned that anti-Semitism was on the rise worldwide, including in universities in his own country.

He said the “evolving phenomenon” of anti-Semitism targets Jews by portraying Israel as “the source of injustice and conflict in the world, and uses perversely the language of human rights to do so.”

“We must be relentless in exposing this new anti-Semitism for what it is,” Harper concluded.

Harper does not speak for the majority of men and women in Canada.
As shown at whatisknown.com, Canada has been sold out in a secret free-trade deal done by a previous Mulroney conservative government.
Those who bow to the zionist bankers are not only pro-jewish, but anti-Christian.

Canada has a pathetic record on human rights and has murdered a large number of aboriginal people. The murders continue to the present time and this is revealed in detail by Kevin Annett. Link to this on the site mentioned already.

Canada is deep in fraud at all levels of government and examples of how the fraud is done are shown at the site mentioned.

Christians in Canada cannot work or vote unless they pretend to be “persons” although the holy bible tells them that God has no respect for “persons” and that God accepts no mans “person”. The hope of all Christians is that they will be accepted by God and those who run Canada know that they alienate Christian by their fraud and deceit.
A man is not a “person”. The “person” is a possession of man as shown at Galatians 2:6.

If T.V. existed in the 1600-1800s, US expansionism at the expense of the Native American would be played out on network T.V. the way Israeli expansion is coming at the expense of the Palestinian.

    The UN isn’t anti-Israeli, it is pro-Palestinian.

The Harper government is deliberately creating an obfuscation between
“anti-semitism” and condemnation of Israeli war crimes. This has been their object from the beginning of his government.

Indeed, a sentiment I share. These new anti-Semitic attitudes are poisoning the world, such as the support of human rights, the respecting of UN resolutions, adhering to international norms in diplomacy, enforcing international law, refusing to support terrorists, liberating political prisoners, abolishing nuclear weapons and the prosecution of war criminals.

All those of you engaged in the search for truth, justice and freedom are supporters of this new anti-Semitism, I sure hope you all feel thoroughly, er, um, anti-Semitic?

I hate Harper and I hate my country for being Israel’s bitch. Canada is no longer a white knight thanks to our illegal war in Afghanistan and our support of Israel’s atrocities in Palestine. Good for the UN !!!

What gives me comfort is knowing that Harper is a “minority government” leader. That means only a minority of Canadians actually voted for his red, white, and blue regime. Most Canadians know that Harper sucks and they had enough sense to vote for someone else.

We will be better off when the voters give him the boot, and when we get the queen’s mug-shot off our currency.

Richard – you are 100% right. Quebec will say good riddance, and the First Nations will rise up and bring Canada to a halt. Let’s take care of our own desperate people. Harper is too busy kissing Israel’s war-criminal ass to see that.

Harper has shown no compassion for the people of Palestine. He looks the other way on Israeli War Crimes in Gaza and the West Bank, because he is a warmonger chickenhawk like Bush and Obama. fU$K harper.

I’m cheering for Palstine – not Israel.

Israel will have to bulldoze parliament and build a settlement on it before Harper stands up to Israel. He’s just a dumbass redneck like Bush.

Harper does NOT represent Canada. He is in a minority government and represents mostly the Canadian version of bible belt Alberta. Alberta is full of born again Christians, with right wing politics, sort of the Texas of Canada. Unfortunately the moderate vote gets split between the NDP and the Liberals since we don’t have a voting system like they do in Australia. Hence we get a minority government of fascist control freaks like Harper which should have been out on his ass except he has pulled every stunt in the book, including proroguing parliament to stop the formation of a coalition Liberal-NDP government, with support from Bloc Quebecois. The Liberals are not perfect they have their Zionist also like Irwin Cotler, but there would at least be other voices to counter his voice in the Liberals cabinet. With Harper there are no other voices only his own can be heard, he is even having our independent auditor general fired because she does her job to well and she has found out some things he thought were hidden like she does with all politicians. He sold Canadians interest out to the US in our dealings with our lumber in NAFTA(we won all the cases in the courts and tribunals) he now sells Canada out to the land grabbing Israeli’s with the assistance of a small powerful Canadian Zionists and his other born again Christian mentor Preston Manning. Like Bush he loves to pose in Military uniforms in places in Afghanistan, and when the soldiers come home he tries cut down an even reasonable amount of money to compensate their hardship when they come back injured and disabled. No surprise he treats the Palestinians cause so badly, even though we have many Canadian citizens which come from Palestine but they don’t matter to Harper.

“Harper stated in his speech that “as long as I am prime minister… Canada will take that stand, whatever the cost.”

He takes his orders from Tel Aviv… I really am starting to wonder if Harper is sound of mind…. He is ready to stand up for Israel no matter the consequences for Canada…

He is more Zionist than NuttyYahoo himself and as he doesn’t represente the wishes of Canadians, if he has any dignity, he should do what Gordon Campbell just did: resign!

Harper should never have come into power. He has boosted the military equipment and cut on a lot of social programs…. He is a warmonger Zionist and a shame to us, Canadians. Out Harper!! Do the right thing and step down!

So it’s “His view or jailtime because you do not agree with the status quo that you are supposed to like them as they steal and murder you blind”?!

Any elected political element who puts a foreign state’s interest ahead of his own nations, is (in my opinion) committing an act of treason and should be prosecuted accordingly.

I think Canada, should clean up it’s own mess, before interfering with other countries. Canadians are fed up with the blatant corruption. Watching the Federal House, I heard a motion passed, by the entire House. They gave, banks, big business, mines, gas and oil companies, billions of our tax dollars. They get huge tax reductions. As big businesses, are bottomless pits of greed. They are lined up at the trough, squealing for the HST too. As far as, Campbell’s resignation. He said, he would be around for quite some months. He also said, he would continue his work. And as usual, his work is dirty work. Campbell works for Harper. And, Harper really wants the HST to stay. That’s why Campbell won’t leave. He has to cement the HST, for Harper, that was the deal Hansen and Campbell made, before the election. BC people will not forget, Harper’s part in the HST, come Federal election time.
