If the Occupation ends today, if the Siege on Gaza is lifted today, if Palestine gets the go-ahead to declare Statehood, Israel’s status of eternal victim comes to an abrupt end. It’s not a coincidence that exactly a year ago a post appeared on this site with the very same theme, if you missed it then, it’s still worth reading… ISRAEL: THE ETERNAL VICTIM

Let’s take a look at what will happen if Israel does lose that eternal status that has kept it alive for the past 63 years; THE BUCK $TOPS THERE! No more 3.5 BILLION DOLLAR$ a year from Uncle Sam.. NADA!!! No way, no how will Israel allow that to happen….

It has to do everything and anything in its power to maintain the situation, starting with attacking anyone that is a threat to their status quo ….. IE: the Flotilla heading to Gaza as a start. From the day its formation was announced, Israel issued threat after threat at those who were involved. As the day of departure came closer, Israel engaged in sabotaging the boats, both endangering lives and in one case making repairs impossible. Israel denies any involvement in these incidents as can be seen in THIS AP Report…. Israel denies it sabotaged ships trying to breach Gaza blockade, calls charges ‘ridiculous’
What IS ridiculous is Israel thinking it could get away with these crimes.

    There will be little celebrating this 4th in the USA. This is a grim and bitter 4th of July for those of us who are over 50 and unemployed.

    What do we have to celebrate?

    Our republic is dead, raped away from us by the rich, the corporations they control, and the politicians whom they have bought. We live in an oligarchy.

    Our savings are gone, many of us have lost our homes, our lives are ruined, shattered and broken. And “our” government refuses to help, saying it’s too expensive. Yet Congress just passed a huge defense appropriations bill of over 60 billion US dollars, and passed it by a huge margin.

    There will be no celebrating in my house this Independence Day. I have nothing to celebrate.
