AN ISRAELI PROFILE IN COURAGE

*
THE GENERAL’S SON — Israeli Miko Peled
*
Miko Peled is a peace activist who dares to say in public what others still choose to deny. Born in Jerusalem in 1961 into a well known Zionist family, his grandfather, Dr. Avraham Katsnelson was a Zionist leader and signer of the Israeli Declaration of Independence. His Father, Matti Peled, was a young officer in the war of 1948 and a general in the war of 1967 when Israel conquered the West Bank, Gaza, Golan Heights and Sinai.
*

Miko’s unlikely opinions reflect his father’s legacy. General Peled was a war hero turned peacemaker.
*
Miko grew up in Jerusalem, a multi-ethnic city, but had to leave Israel before he made his first Palestinian friend, the result of his participation in a dialogue group in California. He was 39.
On September 4, 1997 the beloved Smadar, 13, the daughter of Miko’s sister Nurit and her husband Rami Elhanan was killed in a suicide attack.
Peled insists that Israel/Palestine is one state—the separation wall notwithstanding, massive investment in infrastructure, towns and highways that bisect and connect settlements on the West Bank, have destroyed the possibility for a viable Palestinian state. The result, Peled says is that Israelis and Palestinians are governed by the same government but live under different sets of laws.
At the heart of Peled’s conclusion lies the realization that Israelis and Palestinians can live in peace as equals in their shared homeland.

“Quixotic” is the word that springs to my mind. I admire people like this, in an abstract, theoretical sense. But they and their efforts are doomed from the start.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall inherit the earth. But only about six feet of it.

Its good to see courageous Jews standing up for human rights in this very troubled part of the world. Few realize the power of the Zionist lobby within the USA and its ability to corrupt the political process, members of Congress and the Senate operate fully aware of the constant scrutiny of AIPAC and the ADL. These organizations have almost unlimited funds when required, that can be directed against any politician seen as a threat to the Zionist controlled state of Israel in its current aggressive form.

A closer look at the USA reveals a media machine which includes Hollywood being totally controlled by Zionists, look a little further and you have the privately own banking cartel known as the US Federal Reserve also under Zionist control along with Wall Street Bankers. The Zionists have made inroads into the American legal system and were involved in the investigation of 911 and to most thinking people this issue remains unresolved and nothing short of a full and independent inquiry will ever reveal those at the heart of this outrageous false flag attack on America.

A closer look at the Obama administration will reveal no shortage of Zionist’s here as well, you could be forgiven for thinking that the USA is in fact run from Israel, consider the three billion dollar minimum annual gift from the American taxpayers to Israel and dont forget to add on the fraudulent right down and reclassification of perfect good military assets as surplus to be sold off at a fraction of their true book value and these include very expensive items such as jet fighters and you have the Zionist state fully funded by the USA.

In fact the Zionist state couldnt possibly exist in its current beligerent form without this level of financial backing and military support from the USA, indeed the USA is little more than a massive cash cow to be milked almost at will by the Zionist forces both within and abroad. For peace in the region what is needed is for a total shut down of American aid in all forms to Israel, in fact an economic boycott of Israel would quickly see this racist apartheid state brought to its knee’s and willing to negotiate a fair and equitable settlement with the Palestinians, exactly what that settlement would finally be is a matter for those two states to finalize.

The final act necessary to see some form of stability return to the region is the removal of Israels weapons of mass destruction which include Nuclear, Biological and chemical, they need nothing more than a military force with the capability to enforce the 1967 borders.

A young Palestinian friend in France heard about this from his sister in Germany, and so I in Switzerland have just been privileged to watch and listen. I will order the book from the Geneva English bookshop Off the Shelf and encourage them to order several.
    So many thanks.
